If you are taking, or considering taking, creatine then this book is a must, even though it is not written for the layman and is both expensive and jargon-ridden. An overview of all that has been confirmed by research, it proves that creatine is beneficial for sports, bodybuilding and - as recently realized - for general health too.

The book concentrates mainly on the sports aspect, as that is what creatine has been used for so many decades to support. It covers many relevant aspects, such as the proven best way to supplement in strength-power sports and also in endurance sports as well as facts and fallacies. You can learn the optimum amount to take daily, dosage protocols, whether/when loading is beneficial, the best type/formulation of creatine, whether creatine really does harm kidneys or cause muscle-strains/cramping, whether long-term use is safe, and much more.

For general health, I was most interested in learning from this book that taking B-alanine together with creatine has been shown to produce greater (desirable) changes in both lean mass and percentage of body fat than placebo or creatine alone. Also that creatine reduces homocysteine levels (a danger-marker not just for heart disease but also for health generally) and might also be both anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant.
