Great intro material.,

Forget what other people are saying. This book is meant to give the reader an introduction to the field of criminal justice. I don't know what the other readers were expecting. If they want more depth just buy a specialized book on criminology. This book is great if you are looking for something to guide you in the field, or if you take an intro class in college or high school.

It was a pleasure doing business with this individual. Not only did the book arrive on time, but it was also in great conditions. Thank you very much for making this happen and I look forward to conduct business with you again. Have a great weekend.

a terrible textbook,
This review is from: Essentials of Criminal Justice (Paperback)
This book was one of the worst text books I have ever read. Many of its sources were outdated. It failed to give a complete review of the field, neglecting several important theories. It also failed to discuss even the slightest hint of research that supports or challenges the theories it does discuss. Furthermore, it is not only biased but fails to give a comprehensive discussion of the subjects in which it has a bias preventing the reader from making an informed opinion.
