This book presents a concise summary of the major grammatical structures of Latin. It is divided into two sections: Part I deals with the morphology of nouns, adjectives, verbs etc; Part II presents syntax. A number of examples in both parts of the book highlight the grammar that is being presented. Though the examples may be a little brief, nonetheless they provide a good insight to the grammar. This book is ideal for the beginner and is an excellent reference source to accompany any Latin textbook.

The book is good for reference. Its syntax is brief (maybe too brief). It doesn't have any major irregular words. The Declensions maybe listed differently than your textbook so it could be tricky to read.

This book is very good, but only to those who already have a firm grasp of Latin. Once you've been around the block a few times you can use this book to quickly refresh anything you may have forgotten or anything strange you may encounter.
I particularly like the way he endeavors to break things down into tabular rules. Although sometimes daunting, they do serve well. An example is how he circumvents those annoying i-stem nouns by listing third declension nouns in five categories.
