5.0 out of 5 stars Taught me the essentials and a bunch more!, April 27, 2001

I made a special trip back here just to write this review.

It's not every day that a book does what it promises, the way it promises. This book did. And more. What I needed more than anything else was a get-straight-to-the-point learning guide to help me create simple PowerPoint slides on my Macintosh.

By the time I'd finished the second module I had the skills necessary to accomplish my goal. As i moved through the other modules, It became quite clear that I was going to learn much more than I had anticipated. A very pleasant surprise. I am very grateful for this book.
