I graduated chiropractic school this year. I used this book in school and found this it to be filled with lots of info on soft and hard tissue pathology. The radiographs are excellent in this book. Every condition from spinal bifida occulta to fibrous dysplasia is described with the utmost detail. Every chapter has a helpful summary that summarizes all the important points of each condition. I also used this book to help me study for Part II, III and IV of the National Boards. However, if you really want a great book to study for the national boards do what my study group and I did, get the following:
National Board of Chiropractic Part II Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers by Patrick Leonardi
National Board of Chiropractic Part III Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations by Patrick Leonardi
National Board of Chiropractic Part IV Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers (Volume 1) and (Volume 2)
The questions in these last 4 study guides are right on with the kind of questions encountered on the National Boards. These 5 books contributed greatly to helping my study group and I pass the boards. For example the Part IV Study Guide had great sections on chiropractic technique, clinical impression and x-ray diagnosis. It presented the questions just like on the exam. These 5 books are must buys.

An exhaustive text on skeletal radiology. Though my experience is limited, it would certainly seem that if its not in here we don't know about it yet...perhaps thats too great a generalization but this text will definitely prove beneficial beyond the classroom as many doctors can attest.

An essential text for all chiropractic and medical students as well as practicing doctors. Useful write-ups on hundreds of conditions. Wonderful coverage of arthritides and tumors. Huge section on normals and a small section on positioning. The only place it's lacking is in chest and abdomen, and that's because it's a book on skeletal radiology. I couldn't do without it.

I highly recommend these books to anyone that wants a firm foundation in radiology. The chapters follow a simple, logical progression that first time readers will enjoy. The pictures and diagrams that are included allow the student to get a true feeling of the various radiological findings associated with disease processes. A must for any student's personel library!

This book is very useful. It has helped me in my classes in a great way. The pictures are clear and understandable. It helps you prepare yourself when you are looking at different kinds of X-rays.

Both volumes arrived ahead of the expected delivery date, great quality however the tops of the spines were a little damaged, nothing affecting the use of the books but that was the only thing I was a little disappointed with.

The seller promptly responded to my questions through email and the books that we bought were in great condition. No complaints here :)

Great two volume book set explaining the various x-ray images and conditions. Its also a great price for under $240. This book series can be used from the classroom to the professional office setting.

This two volume edition of Skeletal Radiology is outstanding. There are many pictures and examples so that you can see the findings and apply them in practice. The text is also very easy to read and understand and is organized into well thought out chapters. This is a great reference to have in your library as well.
