Great and very informative.,

The author presents an interesting method of scoring and interpeting the TAT. I learned a lot of from it and highly recommend it to anyone trying to use this method both in the clinical practice as well as for other purposes.The scoring method proposed by Murray (in the TAT set) does not appeal to me in particular. I love the book, as it is not only well documented and researched but also very interesting to read. A must for all TAT (and other projective methods) enthusiasts.

This book presents an extensive analysis of TAT from a cognitive perspective (as well as traditional psychodynamic). Its greatest quality is to explore aspects such as information processing and though processes, afect, object relations, self-perception and motivation, in tandem with cognitive developmental theory. It contains several exemples of TAT responses and their interpretation, which aids the learning process.
