Biography

Travis Tritt was one of the leading new country singers of the early '90s, holding his own against Garth Brooks, Clint Black, and Alan Jackson. He was the only one not to wear a hat and the only one to dip into bluesy Southern rock. Consequently, he developed a gutsy, outlaw image that distinguished him from the pack. Throughout the early '90s, he had a string of platinum albums and Top Ten… Read more in Amazon's Travis Tritt Store

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Selection of Songs, January 4, 2004
By
This review is from: Essentials (Audio CD)
This is a great selection of songs from Travis Tritt's first three or four albums. Anybody who was listening to country radio in the early nineties should remember these songs; they are all great and it's good to have them all together on one recording. There is not one track here I'd skip. If you're looking for a good collection of songs from the early part of Travis Tritt's career, I'd recommend this CD.
