The list author says: "Newborn Essentials While Breastfeeding, Pumping and Bottle Feeding...I'm a 30 year old full-time (aka: stay at home) mom to our daughter in Portland, OR. My daughter was born pre-term, and we decide to supplement breast milk with formula. I also pumped. She was colicky until 3.5 months old. These are my favorite things. Things that were worth the money, and that I would buy again in a heartbeat. P.S. My daughter did not suffer from nipple confusion, she happily took a bottle and nursed until a year old."
"When my daughter was colicky she preferred louder white noise than the sheep (so we used an ipod playing hair dryer sounds) but as she grew, she grew to really love the soothing sounds of the sleep sheep."
"You can use the moby with tiny babies, and with bigger babies and it is super comfortable and easy on your back. Takes some patience and practice to learn how to use it, but in my opinion totally worth it."
"I started with glass, and switched to plastic. I didn't like that the smaller Dr. Brown's glass only held 3.5 oz, and that formula is mixed in either 2 or 4 ounces at a time. The plastic is easier for the baby to hold b/c it is so much lighter."
"I had a "My Breast Friend" nursing pillow also, but personally preferred the boppy. I didn't like how hard the breast friend was, and like having my baby snuggly against the boppy while nursing. I used a bed pillow underneath it until she was big enough to nurse on it comfortably on her own."
