4.0 out of 5 stars You can make your own for cheaper at home May 9, 2012
You can make your own for cheaper at home

1.5 lbs of burdock root powder
1 lb of sheep sorrel powder
0.25 lb of slippery elm powder
1 oz of Turkish rhubarb root powder

Optional, but can be more effective:
1 oz wartercress
1 oz kelp powder
1 oz blessed thistle
1 oz red clover herb

Mix these ingredients thoroughly and store in glass jar in dark dry cupboard.

Take a measuring cup, use 1/4 cup of herb mixture to 4 cups of water depending on the amount you want to make. (eg: 1 cup of herb mixture in a gallon of water)

Use a glass pot. Boil hard for 10 minutes (covered) then turn off heat but leave sitting on warm plate over night (covered).

In the morning heat steaming hot, then strain through fine strainer into glass bottles and sit to cool. Store in refrigerator.

Basic single daily does: 1/8 cup herbal tea diluted in 1/8 cup hot water, taken on an empty stomach (at bedtime or when you get up.)

WOW!, My cat was diagnosed with 1 month to live due to breast cancer. Tumor had opened and ulcerated. Smelled horrible. I started giving this tea twice a day to her along with vit.C, daily mouse, reiki, along with grain-free, high protein diet. Within 2 weeks smell gone, coughing gone, opened wound begining to dry up/heal. Good weight, jumping, playing, eating, spunky. It's curing her! THANK YOU! Highly recommend for serious illness/cancer.

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD CANCER FIGHTER/ IMMUNE STIMULANT July 23, 2010
WHATEVER YOU CAN TAKE THATS NATURAL AND HELPS STIMULATE THE IMMUNE SYSTEM - I SAY GO RIGHT AHEAD! CHEMO IS TOXIC AND WINDS UP KILLING YOU BEFORE CANCER EVER DOES MOST OF THE TIME. IVE RESEARCHED THIS PRODUCT AND READ THE HISTORY OF HOW IT CAME ABOUT AND WHAT IT WAS USED FOR. IT CANT HURT.. IT CAN ONLY HELP AND PROBABLY IN WAYS YOU WOULDNT NECESSARILY KNOW. THE CANCER COULD BE WORSE- SO IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE AT ALL BETTER THAT IT JUST KEEPS THE CANER AT WHERE IT IS NOW AND DOESNT LET IT PROGRESS TO A WORSE STATE. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER 7 MONTHS AGO AND HAVE USED THIS RELIGIOUSLY AND FEEL GREAT.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cat cured of terminal bone cancer tumour. July 2, 2012
I too used Essiac capsules to cure our cat that was diagnosed with a terminal bone cancer tumour in Dec/2010. I opened the capsule and mixed half the capsule with fruit juice, once on the morning and again in the evening. I administered the mixture to the cat with a syringe as the cat would not eat her food with the Essiac powder mixed it. (cats are finicky) In six weeks the tumour was receding and according to xray interpretations the cancer site on the bone was "remodelling." The vet was amazed! Two years later and the cat is still 100% healthy!! They wanted to amputate the cats leg and put it on chemo with no guarantees.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blind Dachshund with Lymphoma January 6, 2012
I followed the preparation instructions EXACTLY. I calculated how much I needed to give to my 16 pound dachshund and we are off!!! She has been on Essiac Tea, as well as other natural cures, and has stabilized. The tea keeps excellently in sterilized jars and kept in the frig. She doesn't mind the taste either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my dog's life December 22, 2012

The vet said without opening up my dog, she could not be sure, but she felt my dog had liver cancer. My pet had lost weight and was almost too bony to pet. She was having terrible nose bleeds. The liver enzyme readings were off the charts. She prescribe vitimim K and Denamarine ( milk thistle and sam-e ) After about 3 weeks, there was little change. I told the vet I wanted to give the pet Essiac tea. She ask what it was, did some computer research, and came back and said if it were her pet she would give her the tea. At Pet's next check up, the vet was getting some improved readings. ( I think these check ups are about 3-4 weeks apart ) At the next, the vet said she couldn't believe how well my pet was doing. At the next, she took her off perscriptions, but said I could continue the tea. The vet has said she thought we would going to loose my pet, but that she is doing great. I know it was the tea that made the difference, and I give it a little along as a preventitive. My sister is now in hospital with cancer....I will be making sure she gets some tea.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a cure but helps March 2, 2012

I used this when my 9 yr old greyhound was diagnosed with osteo sarcoma. It does take a while to prepare (I would make in on the weekend) but I was able to keep him with me for 5 months which is a lot longer than the original 1 month prognosis. I used it myself for nasal drip issues or when I had a sore throat and it definitely helped. You only take about 2 tablespoons so as long as its really cold, it's tolerable to drink. I haven't made it since I lost him two months ago but I think it's time to make myself some.

I am on my 3rd month of giving this to my 9 year old boxer. She is getting 1oz 3xday. She is coughing less, her eyes are clearer than they have ever been (even as a puppy they were a bit beige in the whites of her eyes, they are now white!). She also has kidney disease and has had it for about 4 or 5 years.
Things I have noticed since she has been taking it: her eyes are clear and bright as I mentioned before, she is coughing much less, her appetite has returned, she has much more energy and spunk, her breathing is MUCH less labored and shallow. Each breath is deeper and she seems to be able to sleep better. She's also begging again :) Her bark has returned, she has been hoarse and could barely whine-her way of talking, her whine is back too.
I have asthma and allergies (to everything in nature!)and one of the herbs in this tea helps to reduce mucous production, a key component in asthma symptoms. I decided to try it. I took 2 oz at night for about a week. 3 days in, my allergies were unbearable. But then they seemed to almost disappear. My voice was clearer (never has been due to the mucous on my vocal chords-yuck I know). I stopped taking it only because I was getting low and my dog is priority. I will be ordering more and start taking it myself again. Can't wait to see what happens! Highly recommend this to anyone dealing with tumors or mucous! Research Caisse, the RN from Canada who developed this product with the help of a native American. Very interesting!
