Too glossy and not hard enough for my needs. To be fair it's advertised as nail protection and not a hardener. I've smashed various fingernails in the course of living and a couple of them grow like washboards so I need a hardener and this just isn't formulated to address that. It is however advertised as drying to a "matte" finish with which I must disagree. Too glossy and effeminate looking for me.

But I do apply Man-E-Cure when I'm restarting to grow my nails out (I like to grow them out and snip them short every 3-4 months) and during the weeks when it's fairly short. It does what it's supposed to do, shine and I guess, protect. I like the semi-matte finish, and I usually apply two coats for a natural-shined finish. I think it looks more healthy when applied twice--the shine looks like an oil-dipped shine (if you get what I'm saying) rather than a top-coat shine.
