5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful deep wine color
This is my first Essie nail polish and I love it. It went on non streaky and opaque within two coats, and five days later I only have two chips. Wicked is a deep berry wine color and is absolutely stunning for fall. Against darker skin its quite complimentary.

This color really is in all the Magazines. And, as I suspected, this color is ... basically the same thing made by other companies. It's no different, it has no special "pop" or flare. It's the same ultra dark berry color you can find anywhere except it costs more. If you're just a die hard Essie fan, there's no harm in buying it, especially if you can get a deal. If...

It's the same ultra dark berry color you can find anywhere except it costs more. If you're just a die hard Essie fan, there's no harm in buying it, especially if you can get a deal. If you're frugal at heart (like me), just buy the cheaper version.
This polish paints on well and covers in 2 coats, but is quite a bit thinner in consistency when compared with other polishes I have by Essie.

It's not bad. But it's not new, special, or in any ways different from all of the other super dark berry polishes I already own.

5.0 out of 5 stars More garnet/cranberry color than the bottle appears, August 4, 2011

I love Essie nail polish. This color comes out much more cranberry/reddish/garnet when you actually apply it than it looks in the bottle. So far, my nail can go about 5-7 days without chipping using a regular base and top coat. I just bought their rubberized "first base" base coat, so we'll see if it lasts any longer with that.

Great color and easy to apply - only need to coats of the color and it's perfect. Great for an everyday standard, or for special occasions. Looks good in almost any season as long as I have a tan ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this color., July 20, 2010

This color goes on great with two coats and it is a beautiful vampy dark red. Looks great mattified as well, a huge difference between matte and shiny, great for manicures. I will be sad when this color runs out!

YOU CAN'T OPEN A HIGH END FASHION MAGAZINE WITHOUT SEEING THE MODELS WEARING "WICKED" NAIL POLISH. WHILE MANY NAIL POLISH HOUSES MAKE THIS PARTICULAR POPULAR SHADE, ESSIE CAPTURED IT DEAD ON. IT WEARS LIKE IRON WITH NO CHIPPING FOR WEEKS ON END.

I WEAR IT ALL THE TIME, TOES AND FINGERNAILS ALIKE, EVERY SEASON. IT IS "OLD HOLLYWOOD", DRAMATIC AND VERY GLAM AND IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT!
