From the back cover:
In the language of flowers -
Rhododendron means danger, beware... Cypress stands for mourning... Monkshood warns "a deadly foe is here." Campion had no trouble reading the message contained in the faded bouquet innocently presented by a child. He was in mourning; a friend had died. A natural death, the doctor said, though sudden. But in whole of that green and smiling countryside, there seemed to be danger - unless it came from the other body, lying so quietly in a ditch. The body of a very dead man that nobody mourned, or even missed.
