Book Description

Lights! Camera! Reed!
That's right - Reed Ferguson, the intrepid hero of This Doesn't Happen In The Movies, is back.

A mysterious death.
A brother searching for the truth.
A devious ex-wife.
Real estate shenanigans.
More danger for Reed than a film noir plot.

Praise for Renee Pawlish's This Doesn't Happen In The Movies

5 Star Review
I hope you revel in the vicarious thrills as much as I did. The plot works on all levels, the supporting cast is great, and Pawlish reveals key elements of Reeds character with light brush strokes and a master's touch.
RJ McDonnell, author of The Rock & Roll mysteries

5 Star Review
I'd recommend this to people that like mysteries. I'd recommend this to person that likes a good book. I'd recommend this to anyone who just wants to enjoy some quality time with quality material. But if you have a pressing engagement (like finishing writing your own book) - stay away until AFTER you finish, because once you start, you won't be able to put this down.
John DeJordy, author

Praise for Nephilim Genesis of Evil

5 out of 5 stars
Carefully plan when you will begin reading it because it's more than likely you won't be able to put it down. Renee Pawlish is now on my favorite writer list and it's not a long one.
Bert Carson, author of Southern Investigation

5 out of 5 stars
Nephilim Genesis of Evil is a chilling, horror outing that uses The Apocrypha as source material for its menacing beings. It's a well-crafted tale of the re-emergence of spirits who are the offspring of humans and angels. This is a powerful and well-written effort.
Sidney Williams, author of Midnight Eyes and Blood Hunter

4.0 out of 5 stars How do you compete with Sam Spade? March 2, 2013
Format:Paperback
The private eye genre is one of the most popular amoung mystery writers. So how does any writer, even one as accomplished as Renee Pawlish, compete in this field? This author succeeds by creating unique and even funny characters, creates a great plot with twists and turns to keep readers interest, and by using great dialog. Now it is on to the next of her Reed Ferguson mysteries. Can't wait.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE REEL ESTATE RIP-OFF has a Hitchcock twist August 1, 2012
Format:Paperback
Reed Ferguson is an engaging amateur detective. Talented writer Renee Pawlish gives THE REEL ESTATE RIP-OFF a Hitchcock twist, making the reader think Reed might have something terrible up his sleeve. There were fascinating story threads, and Pawlish tied everything together with a tidy conclusion. I love being entertained with real (REEL) story!
