I have launched a lot of rockets but never went with a D engine. And wow, there is a substantial difference to the blast off, sound and altitude achieved. Seriously powerful engine. If you have launched rockets and want a little pizazz then go with a D like this.

If you are a beginner: This engine is larger so you have to make sure your rocket will take a D engine!

The Estes D12-3 rocket engine worked just as it should. Using this engine with my rocket, it was expected to go up to 600' and after the physics calculations it reached 578' which is well within my reasonableness tests.

Estes is known for good quality model rocket supplies already. This D12-3 Engine is no exception. It produces a great launch with a lot of power. Just make sure that the rocket you're using it on can accommodate this size engine.
