Estroven Plus Energy & Vitamin D Capsules - 40 ea

For all those women that are having pre-menopause symptoms, I personally recommend this product. Has vitamin D, which is good for the production of calcium, great for bones (to prevent osteoporosis). Give you energy and helps with hot flashes at night. I love it and I use it everyday. Eat a healthy -balanced meal, exercise daily and take Estroven plus energy with vitamin D and you'll see the difference in your symptoms. Evelyn

I've been taking this supplement for quite some time and it has worked very well for my hot flashes. However, at some point, it was very difficult to find so I figured they must be either not making it anymore, or reformulating it. It was the latter. The next time I bought it the caplets were a different color. Well, not sure what they did, but now I have to take two each day instead of just one in order for it to combat my hot flashes.

I emailed the company to provide feedback and ask why they reformulated it and they responded: "The only thing that changed with Estroven Energy is that it is now in hard-caplet form instead of a gelatin soft-capsule. The formulation was not changed. We changed Estroven Energy to hard-caplets so we no longer had to use gelatin which is animal based."

However, I have never seen this supplement in a gelatin capsule. It's always been a hard caplet- it used to be green and now after the reformulation, it's a gold color. When I replied as such, I did not get a response.

I am giving it three stars because it works, but not five stars since I have to take twice as many as is recommended.

My wife is 47 and has been going through some kind of hormonal changes - what a nasty BIT#%! she turned into. I'm telling you a MONSTER. Her doctor recommended she take Estroven...WHAT A DIFFERENCE. If she takes Estroven, she returns to her normal sweet self. The difference is so drastic that my teenage boys make sure she takes it every morning....just so they can get through the day. It a miracle pill I tell you!
