Having turned 52, I was having a very hard time with the constant "flashing" related to menopause. I looked over the array of products available at the store and chose this one. I'm glad I did, as it absolutely works for me. I ran out of it at one point and did not run out to replace it right away. Within a few days, those flashes were right back. I RAN to the store and bought the product again and within a week, I was back to normal. No flashes. I will never run out of it again. It just works.

I'm 51 and began to be routinely bothered by hot flashes a year ago. I would get that instant "steamroom feeling" flood over my neck and face. It would seem to last for several minutes before subsiding only to do it again within 30 minutes or so. I tried several other products but this one seems to work the best for ending the constant hot flashes.

I am a Breast Cancer Survivor and was given Effexor to help with the menopause symptoms caused by chemo. I gained 30 pounds while on the Effexor and decided it was time to get off this drug. I had a horrible experience with withdrawal and the hot flashes and insomnia caused from menopause came back. I tried Estroven and was amazed how quickly it stopped all of my menopause symptoms. I no longer have to worry about the evil drug Effexor and all of the problems it caused me, as Estroven is all natural. Wonderful, wonderful product. I have recommended to all my female friends and relatives.

I bought this product on the recommendation of my doctor. It took two months to kick in but when it did, it worked like a charm. In fact, after about six months of not having hot flashes, I stopped taking it for 5 days. The hot flashes returned with a vengence. Unfortunately, it took another two months of taking the product for my levels to normalize again. But they finally did and now I'm free of hot flashes. I went online and bought a year's supply. I decided I wouldn't take any more chances.

Mostly because I was in total denial that I could EVEN BE in menopause at "only 49", (ha ha!), I tried to deal with having hourly hot flashes for 4 miserable months before I finally decided enough was enough! I didn't like the idea of prescription HRT, so I wanted an over the counter natural remedy. I had read a ton of reviews online first, and decided to give Estroven Maximum Strength (1 daily, 28 day supply) a try.

It's true that it does take time to kick in and work, so you definitely need to be patient with it! For me, improvement was gradual, and I wasn't so sure it was even having any effect until my co-worker pointed out that I wasn't "sweater on, sweater off" with the hot flashes a hundred times a day at work any more. :) She was right. That would have been 6-7 weeks after taking Estroven Max Strength, and I'd say at that point, my 24-7 "solar flares" were reduced by 75%.

I am so happy to tell you that I have NOT had one single hot flash since about 2 1/2 to 3 months into taking Estroven Max Strenth! No more disrupted sleep with waking up five times a night throwing my covers off and on because of hot and cold night sweats... and no more complaining about the temperature in the office at work. :) I don't know what I would do without it! **Just a tip-- I bought the "store brand max strength" once only because Estroven Max was sold out at my pharmacy... the formulary was not the same, and after a week, I noticed symptoms coming back! Only the real deal brand for me now!**

I purchased this box of 98 Caplets Estroven Maximum from Amazon because the unit price was much cheaper compared to the boxes of 28 Caplets purchased at local stores. Just received the shipment of 98. I compared the box against the Estroven Maximum Strength (28 caplets)and noticed the dosage does not match. This 98 Caplet Box says to take 2 a day (not 1 a day as stated on the box of 28). I compared the ingredient values line for line and found they also do NOT match. I went to the manufacturer web site www.estroven.com and the ingredient values do not match the box of 98. My recommendation is DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOX OF 98 -- DO NOT TAKE. Something is very wrong.

I had first tried the Extra Strength Estroblend, which is the Walmart brand. With the Walmart brand you just take 1 tablet per day. However, with the ESTROVEN maximum strength, you have to take two tablets at one time. So if you are trying to compare prices, you need to be aware of that. I did not see anything in the advertisement that said you take 2 per day, so I feel it is a bit misleading when you are trying to comparison shop. I hope this information will help someone else. As for if it works or not, I will have to give it more time to see.

I highly recommend Estroven to any woman suffering from hot flashes and night sweats. It took about 3 weeks to take effect but completely eliminated my symptoms so now I feel like myself again.

Was having hot flashes at the rate of up to 6 per hour. Purchased this item and within four days the hot flashes had decreased, after 6 days... gone! Based on the reviews of others, I will continue to take these caplets to avoid any relapse. Worked for me!

This was the best price for the quantity. Less expensive than in retail stores.
Also, I found that when I stopped taking this product my night sweats returned with a vengence. It does take a few weeks to start working.
