We love this window film. It was very easy to install and the results are exactly what we were looking for. We purchased it for the window sidelights on either side of our front door.

Installation just involved cleaning the windows and then spraying on just a little bit of soap/water solution onto the window (makes it easier to move the film around). We found it easiest to just remove the backing and level up one corner and then cut with a razor while actually hanging it on the window. The first time around we tried to cut two pieces exactly to shape and then hang... That method didn't work out very well because of our mistakes in cutting.

If you're looking for privacy while still allowing a good amount of light, this is the perfect product.

this was VERY easy to cut and install. i looked around for a while for this type of product as they don't carry it at home depot or lowes (this particular style). i thought it would be hard to do by myself but it was very simple. just follow the well written directions.

Had a little sidelight next to my front door and hadn't been able to figure out what to do with it. I had a semi-sheer white curtain panel there that gathered at the top and bottom - did the job, but looked like my grandma's house, not mine. This is SO much better! It looks so crisp and clean! More importantly, it lets in light, without letting anyone see into my home. Cutting it to the exact size was the difficult part. Once it was the right size, it was super easy to install. Love it!

The product looks great on the sidelight of my front door, the application was pretty easy, but the sizing was difficult. I didn't have a yardstick to draw out my lines for the cut I needed to make, the length of the rolled sheet of film kept trying to pull up when I laid it flat to measure out, but after taking forever to measure it out, the application was a breeze.

My recommendations to those who purchase the product would be to have a yardstick if your windows are especially long. Making marks with a measuring tape, and then going back through to draw the line with a standard ruler wasn't fun. Using a credit card/club card to application worked extremly well. I'd also go back an hour or two after you apply it and check for bubbles in the film, as I found it had bubbled a little around the edges.

If the manufacturer pays attention to these, I'd request that you put a grid on the back of your film. This helps make sure cuts are straight, and the grid could be in 1" increments. That would have made the sizing of the cut so much easier!

My husband and I made a built-in book case using a hutch with glass doors as the foundation. It's in our office so I wanted to be able to just throw things in there when I have to neaten up in a hurry. I put the artscape panels on in about an hour. They're so easy to apply and so forgiving. Best of all, you can't possibly tell that it's not frosted glass. At first, we were like, "let's do all our windows with this stuff".

I purchased this product to cover the sidelights next to my front door. I did not feel secure because people could look directly into my house. The item came with very detailed and easy to read instructions, and was a great solution to the problem. After applying the product to my windows, they have a nice frosted look which makes me feel more secure because people cannot see directly into my home. The best part is that you do not have to sacrifice all of the wonderful natural light that came into the windows before the product was applied because it is able to shine through!

This product worked great to allow light to come in through the sidelights, but it allows enough privacy that people coming up to our front door can't see everything inside. Exactly what I was looking for.

It was easy to install, provides great privacy. It also seems to enhance the natural light by diffusing the light rays. I would buy this again if I needed to.

I bought this product to use on my garage windows. The idea was to prevent people from being able to see whether or not my car was in the garage, while still allowing sunlight to enter the garage. This product did a great job!

I installed it leaving a gap of half an inch in between. It looks great.
When my neighbor asked me how I got my windows etched I revealed the secret: it's a film.
I'm very satisfied with it, room looks brighter.
