I bought this to cover glass inset into my front door for privacy. I had originally bought a Gila product in the Depot, but opened that only to find that you had to purchase their own solution in order to install, plus it looked too complicated. Returned. After reading reviews, I bought this Artscapes product through Amazon and am extremely happy with the result. It was very easy to install using household water and soap, and they even provided the squeegie. Design is beautiful. Only 4 stars due to price, which seems a bit high. The quality of the product is top notch though. Fast free delivery from Amazon too.

This film is absolutely beautiful--looks just as good as (or better than) the pictures! The film has a high-quality feel about it as well (thicker than I expected it to be!).

I would've given it 5 stars, except that I followed the directions to the letter and still ended up with a few small bubbles between the film and window (these bubbles were not visible during or directly after installation--showed up 2 days afterward). I have a white sheer curtain over the window anyway which makes these imperfections near-invisible, so it didn't really hurt anything (the beautiful scroll pattern still shows through =)).

If you are applying the film as the sole window covering, be sure to squeegee it VERY well and you should be OK. I would buy this film again in a minute!

Easy to install but you do need to clean the window very very well first--any little spots or specks become bumps. I am using it in a bathroom where I wanted privacy but did not want to install blinds or curtains.

Material is good and thick - no stretching or ripping during installation. Instructions were very friendly and complete, including a squeegee and instructions to use common dish soap and water in a spray bottle, and a towel to protect surrounding areas.

The material was also cut very precisely - *exactly* 36" width. I was worried because my windows were actually about 18 1/8" wide each. But, instructions noted that you want around 1/16" gap. Having no choice I did this, and it actually looks great.

I was very clean in surface prep and material handling, and had no problems. Since you use soapy water on the glass during install, you can actually position the film precisely in place before squeegeeing the water out.

I just started renting a first floor apartment with several windows (including the bathroom) facing the ugly walls of adjacent buildings. As an apartment dweller on a budget, I needed a way to ensure my privacy from the people in these buildings & a way to hide the ugly view, all without blocking the little light I get through these windows (since the buildings shadow a lot of the sun from reaching me. These were the perfect solution. They look wonderful on my window and give me the perfect amount of privacy. Best of all, they are easily removeable so I didn't have to worry about any glue residue on the window or any curtain holes in the wall.

I was a little concerned while cutting them with a rasor blade, because at first i didn't apply enough pressure and had to re-do some cuts. This lead to somewhat uneven edges. Despite this, once the film was actually mounted on the window, it looked great, and I can't even tell that some sides are uneven. It really does add class to the room. And, I get way more sun through the windows than i would with a layer of privacy curtains and/or blinds.

We just finished remodeling and the mirror in our new bathroom was a nightmare. It isn't a very good mirror in that if you looked into it for too long you saw too much and became inconsolably depressed. So instead of purchasing the Moen Mirror-Scapes that simply would have framed the horror, we stumbled upon these and it's the best thing that ever happened.
Easy to cut, apply, and remove it is worth every penny and far cheaper than therapy!

I purchased this to go on two windows in my breakfast area. My window has condensation in it and I was looking for a sophisticated way to camouflage it until a new window is in the budget. It worked great!! This is soooo easy to install. I had to cut it a bit and used a sharp utility knife with no issues. The squeegy is good quality. I recommend that when you squeegy, you dampen the outside film a little to help it glide better. The end result is awesome!

a snap to install, sufficient visual obscurity and perfect design for our decor. i do recommend following the instructions and to be liberal with the spray solution as indicated - the film goes up quick and easy that way - easy to adjust and remove bubbles. i personally would not put this in a bathroom window for it does not provide thorough privacy. this design provides more privacy than the leaf pattern, but i'm equally pleased with the leaf pattern - it's utilized in a project room. i am sincerely pleased with this purchase and prior purchases of this artscape film and all have arrived promptly, intact, and properly packaged.

I loveeeeeee this product, I used it on my main door which needed a curtain. My only option was a magnetic curtain which I have had horrible experience with in the past. Until I found this product! I LOVE IT it took 10 minutes to put on and looks amazing!! Its simple yet chic and goes with any decor! :) All you need is a tape measure and some cold water with soap and voila! Its a whole new window!

I bought this product to provide privacy on the small windows surrounding our front door. I am extremely pleased with it. It installed very easily with only water. It looks fantastic and has stayed in place perfectly. One was sufficient to cover the windows on both sides (full double sidelights). It provides privacy without blocking too much light. I was able to match up the pattern both horizontally and vertically which makes it look very professional. I have gotten so many compliments on it and couldn't be happier. The only thing that would make this a better product would be grid lines on the backing paper for easier measuring and cutting. I am actually buying another to put on our bathroom cabinet doors to hide the toilet paper. :-)
