I was skeptical of this mouse because of the low price. I took a chance on it and I am extremely pleased. This isn't just a good mouse for the price, but a good mouse period. I like for the mouse to be a little bigger - I find that small mice (i.e. portable laptop style) make my fingers and hand ache after long periods of use. This mouse is a good size and I feel like I'm simply resting my hand on top of it. The ergonomic design is a positive as well. I have never used an ergonomic mouse, always opting for the standard shape. It didn't take long to get used to and I feel like I have better control over the pointer. The location of the wheel and side buttons are very good, but the additional 3rd and 4th buttons below the wheel are a little tricky to press. Not really an issue for me, but some gamers may want to consider this. Lastly, set up was easy - simple plug and play. It comes with some software that allows you to edit what the buttons do, but I have no real need for it. 5/5 stars. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this mouse to any level of pc gamer. Flat out awesome mouse.

Features- customizable dpi switch in the middle, right below the scroll wheel. DPI basically means how sensitive the mouse will be. I have never accidentally touched this button. It has a scroll wheel, and two mouse buttons that can be programmed to any key. Rope usb cord

Look- the mouse has a wicked look to it. Very aggressive looking. The light at the bottom changes based on your DPI setting, which is cool. The scroll wheel always lights red however.

Feel- the mouse fits in my hand beautifully. Very comfortable, and feels very proportionate to my hand. Size of the mouse is great too. I've got average to larger size hands, and this mouse works great for me.

The great thing about the DPI settings is its virtually three mouses in one. I like to have it at the lowest setting when I'm playing a first person shooter, the middle setting for casual browsing on my computer, and then the highest setting for games like League of Legends. I use this mouse predominantly for League of Legends, and it was worked phenomenally.

Overall this is a great mouse, and it's so cheap compared to name brand mouses. Don't waste $60 on a Razor. Buy this mouse instead.

This mouse resonates performance from the time you open the box. The braided cable is built for endurance and the heavy use that PC gaming puts on equipment. It is very ergonomically designed, the arc of the mouse fits perfectly into the palm and the two grips placed on the sides allow for precision control even during long gaming sessions. The programmable buttons allow the user to customize for any game on the market whether it be League of Legends or Call of Duty. The ability to change speeds by a push of a button make the learning curve for this product very easy to manage. Just set the speed from your previous mouse and you are good to go. Being a customer that has used Razer and Steel Series mice before, this mouse has the same high performance qualities for a much better price.

The following review reflects a trial use of 14 days of this mouse under standard to moderate use. My short answer is A+ if you choose to not read the following. However, I encourage you to please continue reading for a more in depth review of this mouse offered by Etekcity.

Having large hands, I am very particular in regards to which products I buy since I am on my machine a great deal of the day due to my job. This mouse is both comfortable and versatile, in that it allows me to comfortably maneuver my mouse around my desk with ease. Two of the greatest features about this mouse are the FWD/BKWD buttons that sit immediately above your right hand thumb and the DPI setting button that lies far enough behind the scroll wheel that you don't accidentally bump it during regular use. The FWD/BKWD buttons are a quick way to navigate through both your favorite web browsers as well as any other file browsers that you may be using. They offer a crisp click with minimal recession into the mouse. I was impressed with the build quality of the moving parts and there has been no breakdown nor degradation of its structural integrity thereof. The DPI button allows for quick alteration of the speed in which your mouse moves across the screen, which comes in very handy when you are using graphic editing software or need a moment of super-precise mouse movement. Click it once and goes to 600; a second time and it goes to 1000; thirdly, 1600. All three settings are marked by the dimming and illumination of yet another LED that backlights the DPI button itself, letting you know of your choice.

One of my biggest concerns and criticisms with computer mice is the "sweet spot": the area of action where the actual click occurs.

I've been using a variety of Razer mice over the years, but decided to pick up a one of these Etekcity mice for an extra computer I had. The price is right and it looks like a nice piece.

The mouse is packaged in a small box and wrapped in plastic once you open it up. Instructions are included inside, and a link to drivers is also included.

Build quality wise, the mouse is nicely weighted and the plastic is glossy, which should stand up to time. My only gripe with other mice with matte/rubbery finishes, is that it gets nasty after some time in use. This should stay nice and clean and not attract any dust. The mouse is edged along the whole rim with a blue LED that accents the sides nicely. It can get bright if you leave your computer on at night however.

The mouse fits comfortably in your hand, with two large buttons that run the length of your average finger. The DPI switch resides right below the scroll wheel, between your fingers. The forward/backward buttons are right under your thumb. Ergonomically, the switches are positioned nicely so that you don't have to move your fingers at all to push the buttons you need. This comes in very handy, especially if you bind other functions, like voice talk, to your thumb key.

Tracking wise, the mouse is accurate and does not skip around on the wood surface and Steelseries mousepad I've tested on. It was a snap adjusting from my Razer Deathadder to this mouse. Like other mice, the DPI switch function is useful. It is simple to go from a slower setting in games, to a higher DPI setting in regular Windows (just my preference).

All in all, I am impressed with the quality of the mouse and how it performs for the price (so cheap compared to everything else). It really is a great bang for your buck and I will enjoy gaming on this mouse for hopefully, a long time to come.
