This review is from: Eternal Covenant: How the Trinity Reshapes Covenant Theology (Paperback)
This book deals with the nature of the covenant relationship within the Trinity, as well as a treatment of the Covenant of Works. As such, it provides a starting point for understanding these two elements of the Reformed faith. Smith's research is valuable for a concise statement of the variety of opinions expressed over the past 500 years of Reformed scholarship on the topics addressed.

I have still much to learn but this small book has helped in my understanding of the Eternal Covenant. However, I must admit it was hard for me to follow the first half of the book. But this is probably since I was trying to absorb so much new teaching. For those that are not well read take your time and go slow. Those of a more theological or philosophical background may enjoy the book even more than I. This will probably be a re-read for me later in the year.
