I was looking for a non-obtrusive, mellow CD to use for deep meditation. I have several that have beautiful music, but I wanted something very constant and resonant. That is exactly what this CD is, and it is absolutely perfect for deep meditation.

The CD has 3 different tracks, which at first, I thought it was a little silly, as initially they all sound the same. But after listening to all 3 of them, it is clear that there are subtle differences in each of them, and each has its own "feel" to it. They are also of varying lengths - first one is approx 30 mins, great for a longer meditation, second one is approx 15 minutes, perfect for my morning meditation, and the last track is about 20 mins, an in-between time. And upon listening, they are not entirely monotonous, as the yogi does hit higher and lower notes, and fluctuates the style of the scales he uses.

If you are an avid meditator, or even just a beginner looking to enter some deeper states of consciousness, this CD is a great tool - highly recommended.

i love all of Yogi Haris products. i think i own almost all his products...lol. this om cd i listen to almost every night to help me fall asleep. His music is beyond comparison. its him singing om in different melodies as a meditation. if you dont meditate, it dosent matter, its nice as backround music too. very peaceful. i cant describe unless you experiance it yourself. He is a music Master. but this cd i've ordered it cheaper from the yogi hari site direct.

Yogi Hari is an expert in Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound. His chanting is traditional, simple, not over-produced and extraordinarly effective. It's hard to describe the power of this CD. It will lead you THERE beautifully and effortlessly. I wish I'd discovered it sooner.

I'm sorry. I wanted to like this CD. However the changes in pitch that is incorporated into the Om chant are distracting. The synthesizer leads and not the voice. It should be the other way around.
It is not meditative except in parts. Also the voice is often off key or off pitch with the synthesizer. There are better Om's out there. I own many Om MP3s and this one is my least favorite. I'm serious, I really tried to like it. I have listened to it 3 times. I'll listen some more, and give it another chance. My all time favorite: Gopika Poornima: AU

This is an exquisite,sustained-note,harmonic balanced vibrational music.

You will feel so balanced if you are into meditation,yoga and that kind of stuff... get it;)

I was looking for an eternal Ohm soundtrack used by my yoga instructor -- and assumed this CD was the correct one (I should've listened to the previews more closely). While the soundtracks are good -- they are not as well blended as the track I was expecting -- which I discovered is Eternal Ohm by Robert Slap (unfortunately not available through Amazon).
