This is a love story like no other I have ever read, a story of a love that is timeless and endless.
Caroline has overcome a horrible upbringing, being raised by an alcoholic foster mother who was only in it for the money. Now, she is married to Phillip, her very own night in shining armour who has given her an amazing life living in her dream house. Phillip is fifteen years older than Caroline but the age difference has never been an issue because she is very mature for her age, and it has often been commented on that she is "an old soul".
Caroline has been experiencing strange dreams that have recently become rather disruptive to her daily life. They are becoming more intense, causing her sleep to become regularly interrupted and Caroline to be suffering from sleep deprivation. In the dreams she is running through a wooded area in the foothills of a mountain, she feels as if she is searching for someone, somebody really important to her. She also gets the sense of feeling at home in that area. As the dreams progress, the urgency to find this person she is searching for becomes more intense, more desperate.
Phillip is such a sweet guy, he is very supportive of Caroline and tries his hardest to get her help for this issue. Caroline begins undergoing therapy to get answers and the story that is uncovered really blew me away. I was so impressed with the authors writing and story-telling ability. This book is so beautifully and well written it was almost like I was witnessing the feelings and emotions of the characters like I was actually there. For an author to be able to evoke such empathy for the characters' plights is a true talent and it is clear after reading this book that K.A. Young certainly has that talent.

Eternally Bound by K.A.Young is a book about a love that spans the past(life, not years) and the present. I was totally disappointed by this book. I picked up this book because the concept seemed interesting. Had it been differently executed, this book would have been much better. As it was, it was just too.. well, cheeeeeesy to my liking.

Caroline and Philip have been happily married for two years. That is, until the nightmares/dreams start plaguing Caroline. She dreams constantly of running through a woodsy area in search of someone.. She has no idea who, but know only that this person is very important to her(really?!). She wakes up from these dreams with a sense of deep loss and yearning. Disturbed by these strange dreams which are becoming increasingly frequent, Caroline consults doctor Debra Poole to help her with the situation.

My main peeve with this story was that it was .... too cheesy. If you like that sort of thing, then you might like this book. But, me, I prefer a believable romance... This was just too much for me.

And the characters... They were all too goody-goody... Too sweet... How can people remain so flawless and good always? Please... It would have been much better if the characters were a bit flawed... As it was, I just could not get myself to see from the main characters' perspective for this very reason. So, I could not bring myself to be invested in any of the characters. I had to make a big effort to complete this book, actually.

This book was just not for me. But, if you like cheesy romance and way-too-sweet and good characters, then you might like this book.

Ok, this is the first book by K.A. Young I read and I absolutely loved it!! A friend of mine turned me on to her on her Facebook page and I picked up a copy of her new book and absolutely fell in love with her writing style. She is able to fully captivate your attention and reel you in hook, line and sinker! A great read and I can't wait to read more of her work :)

Well, I really didn’t know what to expect from this novel, but time travel and the “what comes next?” stuff fascinates me, so I was intrigued by this.
It starts where we meet Caroline married to older man Philip. I kind of get the impression he loves her dearly but treats her a little like a fragile toy, and now she’s having these awful nightmares so often he’s distraught for her, and just wants to help. I really felt sorry for him in a way, as if things work out and Caroline is reunited with Thaddeus then what happens to poor Philip? and yet as the story continues and we see how strong the love Thaddeus and Caroline have, how could I not wish for them to be together again? Its that conundrum that had me conjuring up all sorts of reasons to try to dislike Philip....
Then she meets someone who claims to be from her past, the part of her nightmares she can’t recall. Of course Caroline thinks she’s weird and yet....not knowing anything about her past, brought up – or rather dragged up – by a foster carer, she longs to know where she came from. She doesn’t even have a correct date of birth, so when this lady says she must ask her foster mother about something she left with her for Caroline, she’s astonished when she finds that there’s a pendant left for her. Its a strange object, really beautiful and though its fine for Caroline, it feels hot to others.
Philip has arranged some counselling for her with a psychiatrist – who he used to date – and Debbie suggests regression therapy. I really didn’t like Debbie, it was clear she still had strong feelings for Philip, though she tried not to let it show.
