Editorial Reviews

Review

"ETERNITY is a fascinating book, peopled with some very interesting, very complex characters, including a computer called Fuzzy. This book has something for readers of both genres. There's science, romance, intrigue, Fuzzy, duplicity, and suspense, all set in future where they just might be happening.

The writing is exceptional; the book a page-turner. ETERNITY is a read for all time. Good job, Ms. Sandler." Highly Recommended. -- Under the Covers Book Reviews

"Get out the fans. Crank up the AC. If you like sizzling mind sex (and the other kind, too), this book is for you. The reader will not want to put down this book until all the secrets are revealed and the villain uncovered." 4 Stars! -- Romance Reviews @ Sime~Gen

"Karen Sandler has really done a good job of holding your interest with this story. All the subplots are solved and brought together in a compelling ending. Recommended!" -- WCRG on AOL Reviewer Group

"Karen Sandler knows how to tell a story. Kudos to this talented writer for science fiction romance that does honors to both genres!" Four Stars! -- Affaire de Coeur, August 1998

"Ms. Sandler serves up an interesting mix of detailed and believable world-building, genetic theory, and the traditional "snowbound" romance, although in this case the blizzard is the airless surface of an asteroid, and the cozy log cabin is a cozy domed lab. I'd recommend this to any contemporary romance reader who fears futuristics are "too different." -- Science Fiction Romance, June 1998

"The book is fast-paced and intricate. The characters are well-developed with past histories that make them the most unlikely pair in the universe to ever become a couple. If you like your books breathless with anticipation in a fast-paced style of action adventure, then this is the book for you." -- Bonnee Pierson, CompuServe Romance Reviews --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From the Back Cover

In the year 2098, humanity has pushed beyond Earth into the solar system and unlocked the secrets of life with genetic engineering. But despite the lifesaving cures and physical improvements wrought by the mastery over human DNA, some consider the tinkering with genes an abomination.

Bold and reckless shuttle pilot Krys Krysynowski has thrown her lot in with SEIS vocal opponents of genetic experimentation. But when SEIS sends her to the asteroid-based laboratory of Ian Llewellyn, her intense attraction for the lone wolf geneticist shakes her to the core. Her mission is to secretly sabotage Ian's latest project, but his dedication to his work, his singleminded drive to conquer human illness, turns Krys's entire belief system upside down. Ian touches her heart as no other man has.

But there is something very different about Ian, something both wonderful and frightening. And when Krys finds herself falling in love with him, she realizes that it is exactly that secret that will keep them apart. Unless she is willing to risk a rite of passage with two possible outcomes eternal love... or certain death. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

More About the Author

As a nine-year-old, Karen Sandler was a horse-crazy kid with an over-active imagination. When that pony she begged for didn't appear on Christmas morning, she wrote about horses in poetry and stories. It took until she was an adult to both buy her first horse (the very unladylike Lady) and see her first book published. Since then, she's sold seventeen other books. In addition to writing novels, short stories and screenplays, she loves riding her beautiful Andalusian/Morgan mare, Belle (who is very ladylike). She lives in Northern California with her husband, Gary, and three cats--pleasingly plump Tenka, formerly feral Zak, and cranky diabetic Casper. 4.0 out of 5 stars Hot and out of this world!, July 10, 2000
The year is 2098. In this passionate romance countries go by numbers instead of names and outer space is within everyone's grasp. Dr. Ian Llewellyn lives alone on an asteroid. His job is to find miracle cures with the help of a special computer he calls Fuzzy for short. Ian is content with his solitary life and with reason... until a shuttle rat name Krys brings with her some supplies and a little added adventure. I enjoyed reading Eternity. Ms. Sandler has a fabulous futuristic imagination! Her characters are well written and complete. I recommend it to anyone who loves a futuristic romance or a romance in general.
