Book Description

ROMAN NICOLIS

Cursed for 2,000 years, he has tracked his lover’s soul through each reincarnation only to lose her horribly every time. Reclaiming their love is their only salvation. He’s been her friend, her father, her neighbor, but never again her lover … until now.

STELLA WALKER

A late night walk home throws her into the path of a killer. The last thing she remembers are the deep blue eyes of the man trying to kill her—and the first things she sees after a seven-day coma are the same blue eyes in the handsome face of the man hired to protect her. Is he truly the owner of a security firm assigned to protect her, or the man who wants to finish her off? Is it fear she feels when Roman touches her, or the memory of something sweeter?

Past secrets haunt them. An angry demon stalks them.

Roman will do anything to recover what they had. Though Stella’s ruined childhood has made her close her heart and body to any man, he must get past the walls around her to gain her love and trust, for it will take their union to defeat an unexpected enemy sent from the Egyptian Gods. A man Romans respects, and Stella trusts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! September 2, 2012

Tmonique Stephens captured my attention from the very beginning. I fell in love with Stella and the strength she possessed. And the main guy, Roman, was amazing. This book had everything you could want. It had action, love, and twists and turns that kept me reading. I can't wait to read more books by Stephens and I highly recommend this book. It is very suspenseful and action packed. There is never a dull moment in this book. The characters were all strong and you can't help but fall in love with them. I can't wait to read more about all these characters.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the Egyptian Mythology in this book November 23, 2012
By Carin
Format:Kindle Edition
I have to say I love mythology and one of the most under used pantheon's is Egyptian. Tmonique Stephens manages in Eternity to use Egyptian mythology beautifully while writing a suspenseful and contemporary book.

The love story between Roman and Stella (Elyssian, his soul mate) is well written you can feel the anguish that Roman goes through and the wariness and fear on Stella's part. While the love story is fantastic it is only part of the picture because you have a serial killer on the lose and after Stella.

The Egyptian mythology come into play through the killer and his reason, motives and needs behind the killing spree he is on. The mind of the killer and his relationship to the Egyptian Gods is fed to you throughout the book giving you hints and teases along the way as to who the killer may be.

I was sucked into this book from the first page and read the whole 300 some odd pages in one day, I give Eternity 4 out of 5

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review

5.0 out of 5 stars Eternity December 11, 2012
By Vanessa
Format:Kindle Edition
A curse has kept Roman from Stella for the last 2000 years, and left him searching for her soul. He has found her and tragically lost her over and over as she lives and dies through cycles of reincarnation. It's in this cycle, when Stella is attacked by a killer, that Roman finally has his chance to claim her as his lover again, and save both of their souls from the torture of separation again.

This love story is absolutely beautiful. From the very beginning, Roman's agony over losing Stella's soul is felt through wonderfully written words, as is the vulnerability of Stella. While she works through familiar feelings and memories, the two of them try to figure out why a killer is after Stella, and what the motive is behind his actions. It's here that the author threads in a fantastic backstory of the killer's relationship with ancient Egyptian Gods. The addition of the Egyptian mythology made this story irresistible, unique and incredibly hard to put down.

Every turn of the page held nail biting suspense and a poetic love that left me swooning. I adored the thrilling mystery and the romance, and I give kudos to the author for writing such a wonderful story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Egyptian Excellence September 4, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Eternity is romantic, suspenseful and well written. The ancient Egyptian elements are rarely utilized in fiction and the splendor and mystique of that era is a riveting back drop. I look forward to every book of the series!

For 2000 years Roman has traced his lover’s soul through every reincarnation now he’s found her again and he’ll have to get past the walls around her heart because it will take their union to defeat an enemy sent from the Egyptian Gods in this thrilling paranormal romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. Sparks fly in every direction when Roman and Stella throughout their romance and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the passion and the emotionally gripping turmoil that surrounds them. Both characters capture the heart with some deep emotional issues and ensure that the reader wants to know their entire story. I have to say that I would take Roman in a heartbeat if Stella didn’t already have his complete heart…I mean who wouldn’t a hot sexy male that would do anything to protect her, sighhhhhh.

There is never a dull moment as spine tingling anticipation and excitement builds throughout the story as the danger escalates from an unexpected enemy. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and draw the reader deeper into the story along with some intriguing characters, not to mention the sexy males that set hearts to pounding. A serial killer is bad enough but one that has some supernatural help that no one sees coming adds lots of tension to the story along with confusion for the characters.

A fascinating world with interesting Egyptian mythological elements arouses the curiosity and ensures that the readers want to know more while surprising twists keeps readers on their toes. I was completely engrossed in the story from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Roman has been alive for almost 2000 years, his Immortality a result of a curse placed on him for falling in love with a woman that was promised to another. Elyssian's soul has been reincarnated many times and each time he has lost her. In order to beat the curse, she must remember him and all he was to her.

Roman owns a security firm and is hired to protect a woman, Stella, who has hurt badly in a murder attempt. From the moment Stella opens her eyes, he knows she is Elyssians soul. As she takes in Roman for the first time she is frighted because his looks mirror some of her attackers but she also feels something else that confuses her, she feels as if she knows him.

Alamut gathers souls for his Master, Anubis. Anubis plans to have his own Army to take over what his father now has. These souls are basically kept in a holding tank, in hibernation until he is ready for his Army. Alamut has never left a victim alive so he must find her. This becomes his priority which his master is not pleased about.

This book is about love and the search for it and it is about family and the people who care about you whether they are blood or not.

I was given this book to read for an honest opinion. I liked the storyline but at times I felt areas were too wordy and other times I feel like a character was a mere mention, I wasn't sure of the characters function. The book also needs more editing. I found errors like sorted instead of SORDID, words linked together as in Aword instead of A word and several times Stella's name was put in as Alexis and there is no Alexis in the story. I also felt that some of the conversations ran together and I had to read it again to figure out which character it pertained to.

I really liked the storyline.

More About the Author

I wrote my first novel about a reporter and a hockey player after the U.S. hockey team won gold in the 1980 Olympics. I love writing flawed characters who reflect the emotional baggage we all carry. I write complicated stories for complicated people. Paranormal romances and fantasy novels are my favorite genre. I'll read anything about fairies, demons, or angels, but I also enjoy Stephen King and Preston and Childs.

I'm hooked on Sleepy Hollow, The Strain, Vikings, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Arrow. I can't get enough of these shows!

I was born in St. Thomas USVI, but grew up in The Bronx, New York one mile from Yankee Stadium. I love SyFy, the History channels, and Asian cuisine. But my heart and stomach longs for anything from the Caribbean.
