2.0 out of 5 stars 19 different chapters & 25 authors views on ethics, July 24, 2008

This review is from: Ethical Issues in Archaeology (Society for American Archaeolo) (Paperback)
This is a real mish mash of views on ethics in archaeology, a subject most archaeologists are so sure their views are correct they may not read anyone else's views. Several of the chapters are quite intesting and a few are boring. This book appears to have been written as a text book for archy students and priced accordingly to rip them off at the campus bookstore. Overall the SAA has a good grip on ethics, and I agree with most of the stances in the book, everyone seems they must take a swing at Kennewick man, the poor old boy can't get any rest even after all these years. Nice little book, should cost maybe 17 bucks tops.
