My cats weren't interested in something like that.

My Bengal loves to jump in the air and catch this ball and loves how it kind of bounces around erratically.

Of all the toys he has, my cat loves these the best.

My 1yr old Siamese male ripped one of the pegs off and ate it. $1000 in vet bills later it gave him a intestinal blockage. Thankfully he finally passed it and avoided 2-5k surgery. Please do not buy this toy!!!

Great toy. My cat actually plays fetch with this. Its just the right size. The only draw back is that they can chew it apart after awhile. Just keep an eye on that.

The ball pictures is the multi-colored ball. I have had that one in the past, and it is softer and has more bounce than the one I received. The package I received contained 2 bouncing balls that are a solid color and have a little less bounce.

Not all my cats play with this ball. But the ones that do absolutely love it. One of them will pick it up, bring it to me, and drop it in front of me. Then he plays fetch every time I throw it.

My cat loves these balls. she wont play alone, so I toss each one and she just flies towards them. Then, she just sits next to the ball, so I fetch. Then toss again and again. So, I bought a lor of them, so I don't wear myself out. So I fetch one time to get all of them. She really loves it when I toss them down the stairs. The balls are small, and there is only 2 in each bag. they bounce all around, go about a foot high. BEST toys ever. Great FUN, and exercise for both of us.

These cats toys are not so good. At least not for my girls.
The only reason I am giving 2 stars, (instead of one), is because Hailey (my Maine Coone), pushed one around for the first 10 minutes.
But these Atomic Balls could not even keep the attention of my very spirited Bengal.
Both of my girls are almost 7 now, so maybe this is a toy for kittens?

Each of these balls is a single dull color (the ones I got were blue and orange), not bright and multi-colored as in the picture. They were much smaller than I realized they would be, maybe an inch in diameter. They are made of a hard rubber and do bounce and skitter around the floor appealingly. My cats weren't too impressed, but some cats or very small dogs might find them fun for fetch or interactive play.

Best ball-type cat toy we've ever found--in the grocery store, actually, and have never seen them in any pet-supply store. They're made of superball-type material and are shaped to roll and bounce very irregularly, simulating the prey animal motions that cat brains are wired to go after, especially when rolled like a bowling ball, as fast as you can. Our guy (7 months) brings them to us in his mouth so he can chase and fetch, 3-5 times every day for 20-30 minutes at a stretch, and we've been able to teach him the word "play" by saying it every time we throw it for him! Also, because they roll and bounce so easily with just the nudge of a paw, he also plays with them alone, batting them all around the house, and has figured out how to bounce it by picking it up with both paws as he rears up to pounce, so that as he comes down and releases it, it's hitting the floor with extra force and bounces. If we bowl both at the same time, he shepherds them back with one in his mouth while soccer-dribbling the other. Perfect interactive toy for us, lots of exercise for him, and impervious to his gnawing habit, which in the past has led to the ingestion of bits of lesser toys. Highly recommend ... certainly a big payoff for very little investment!

The first surprise was to see that the balls were of a solid color (one green, one yellow) instead of the multicolored ball shown in the picture. The second was that my cat showed absolutely no interest in them, though she loves other balls she has. If we throw this ball she is likely to chase it for a second, but once she sees which ball it is she will go back to completely ignoring it.
