4.0 out of 5 stars The Ethical Dimensions of the Biological and Health Sciences, February 17, 2009
This review is from: The Ethical Dimensions of the Biological and Health Sciences (Paperback)
This book is a required text for an on-line course. The educational institution offering the course recommended Amazon as a supplier. The book was definitely less expensive through Amazon than through our local university bookstore. Amazon offered a variety of purchase options. My used copy was sold "As new" and while the annotations written by the previous owner would not lead me to completely concur with that description, it was still in very good condition. It took about 2 weeks to arrive from its US destination to Canada.
The book offers a number of articles on various ethical topics in clinical research which are well-written and remain timely. It supports the course material and provides useful discussion questions to assist with review.
It is a book I will keep on my shelf at work in a research unit and highly recommend it as a useful reference.
