About the Author

Julie C. Van Camp is Professor of Philosophy and the Pre-Law Advisor at California State University, Long Beach, where she teaches philosophy of law and applied ethics. She is the co-editor of APPLYING ETHICS EIGHTH EDITION, also published by Wadsworth. Along with a Ph.D. in philosophy from Temple University, she holds a J.D. from Georgetown University. She has been admitted to the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar.
