Extremely helpful book,
This review is from: Ethics in Pastoral Ministry (Paperback)
This book is one of the best I have ever read to help explain the difference between being a volunteer and a professional minister. Does an awesome job overviewing some of the stickiest issues that both lay and ordained ministers confront in everyday life. Offers responsible advice and guidelines without being paranoid. It is a book that I turn to again and again.

This review is from: Ethics in Pastoral Ministry (Paperback)
This book is clear, concise, practical, insightful and scholarly. Though written by a Roman Catholic scholar it is ecumenical in its appeal and application. One weakness of the book is a lack of the inclusion of a feminist perspective on pastoral ethics. Gula's book is well
written and a must read for all those involved in pastoral ministry.
