Product Description

Our subtle seductive blend Ethiopian Berbere plays a key role in making an authentic doro wat (a chicken stew). With hints of paprika, cumin, allspice and cloves, you can also use Ethiopian Berbere as a coating on meats. Try rubbing it on chicken breasts and then coat chicken with flour to make flavorful fried chicken. Take pizza dough to a new level by adding 1 tablespoon to plain dough before baking. Sprinkle on couscous, steamed vegetables or freshly grilled vegetables. Stir into egg, potato or pasta salads. Comes in our signature airtight tin, which measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter and 1-3/4 inches in height.

Tried this berbere after eating Ethiopian food with my wife. Excellent spice that adds depth to any dish especially Mexican, spaghetti, eggs or any other meat dish that you want a different unique flavor.
