"Yo, where did you get those shoes?!", June 25, 2010
This review is from: Etonic Men's Blue Flame Sport Bowling (Apparel)
That's what's you're going to hear once you buy these bad boys.
The design is definitely modern, no ugly red-green-white tricolor rental shoe pattern here.
The blue-flame pattern definitely looks elegant, even at larger sizes. I bought the size 14s, and they look just like how they do in the picture. I can't tell you how many times that simply doesn't happen with street sneakers.
The soles are of a softer composite material than most rental shoes. So the first couple of times you wear them, you are going to have to compensate for an extra 3-4 inches of slide on your release. Not too bad because after they get broken in you'll be fine, the first time wearing the shoes may give you a foul or two.
The best part? It's stylish. It has that bowling spirit, while still being fashionable. It's definitely a head turner, and people will think you're a pro.
Even if you bowl a 25.

They don't slide, June 22, 2009
These shoes are terrible, they don't slide, they stick like crazy. On the bottom of the shoe there is a rubber piece that interferes with the sliding sole.

Bowling blue's, April 14, 2009
Beautiful shoes! Great for a teenager. They appear to be made very well. I just had to shorten the laces as so they do not drag. But my son loves them. The service and the price were right. And we are saving lot's of money not having to rent shoes anymore!!
