Roberto Carlos is one of singers that has been included for a very long time (I assess more than twenty five years) among the top group of Latin American idols and is probable that many people below 40's have never known melodies that this brazilian artist composed by the end of 60's when he sang in a very fresh and romantic style. This CD includes a very pleasant and unforgettable collection of old Roberto Carlos' songs. The first one, «Eu te darei o ceu» is one of his emblematic pieces and the remastering process has really been excellent (the same as with the other pieces included). However, all the other songs on this CD have their particular history. «Namoradinha de um amigo meu» is probaly the most popular among them but «Esqueca», «Esperando voce» and «Eu estou apaixonado por voce» are songs whose letter and melody will be very close attached to love feelings and memories of a vaste part of those old «youngs» who grew up with these songs.
This CD is really a musical jewell for all those who love and collect the music of Roberto Carlos.

This is one of several albums from "The King". Very romatic ballads. I enjoy all his pre-1970 albums. Worth the money!

The last time I saw this album cover was in the sixties. Glad to have this great album in cd format. It was the last one and I'm glad to have caught it. Timely delievery , thanks.

This is probably one of the first albums of roberto carlos. In fact it is sung in portugese. This album contains three songs I like: esqueca, eu te darei ou ceu and apaixonado por voce. For me, apaixonado por voce is the best; it combines the harmonica with the guitar in a very sweet way. If you are in love or simply enjoy the good music in portugese you will love this album.
