I've had rosacea all my life. I guess I'm lucky, I don't get the bumps and lumps and scaliness, I just look like I have a permanent sunburn.

3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't treat the redness, but masks it well.
I bought this product 6 months ago along with the night creame. After 3 months of using both daily, it did not treat the redness at all. I've had rosacea all my life. I guess I'm lucky, I don't get the bumps and lumps and scaliness, I just look like I have a permanent sunburn.

I have to wear very heavy, greasy makeup to cover my red skin.

I read about this stuff, and I tried it for the first time today.

I think it did a decent job of neutralizing the redness.

This cream is green- green and red are complementary colors- which means they cancel each other out. So putting the green over the red skin helps even out the skin tone.

The trick is to use it *sparingly*!

I've read reviews of people saying it turned their face green- well duh- it will if you slather it on.

Rub it in well, one area at a time and don't try to do your whole face at once.

It is very creamy and easy to blend. I did not find it heavy or greasy. It is in fact a heck of a lot more comfortable to wear than the pancake makeup I usually have to use which feels like I'm smearing lard on my skin.

This stuff and a little powder did an excellent job.

If I don't get any adverse reactions I will definitely buy this again.

Thumbs up from me.

I have a pretty severe paranoia about having red skin, to the point that any redness at all bothers me excessively. This product even at first use neutralized any uneveness my skin had. I am very eager to see how it works out in the long run. Though, admittedly I will keep using this product even if it does nothing to my skin underneath, it is amazing for under makeup or just by itself to cut redness. Buy it! You will love it!

I bought this product 6 months ago along with the night creame. After 3 months of using both daily, it did not treat the redness at all. I discontinued using the night creame, but continue to use the lotion as it does a good job making my skin look significantly less red by masking it. It has helped me to feel less self-concious in public and I try not to leave the house without it on. This 1.7 oz bottle has lasted me 6 months and still has a few months of use left in it. Overall, a good product, but not a good alternative to a dermatologist.

2.0 out of 5 stars works for redness, don't use if acne prone, June 1, 2011
This review is from: Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF 15, 1.7 Ounce Bottle (Misc.)
I was having problems for months with skin redness. I used both the Eucerin redness relief night creme and this lotion. If you are prone to acne breakouts, stick with just the night creme. The night creme was working slowly, but being self conscious, I decided to turn to the daily perfecting lotion which was a big mistake! This product says that it is non-comedogenic but that is hard for me to believe. I have used many different types of facial lotion but this one caused me one of the worst acne breakouts that I've had since high school. Now, instead of fighting just the facial redness, I am fighting the redness and many blemishes that appeared as a result of using this product. I gave it two stars because if your skin wasn't acne prone, I would certainly use it. It did an excellent job concealing redness. However, if you are acne prone, buyer beware: the self-consciousness caused by your imminent acne breakout might be worse than your self-consciousness from the facial redness. Stick with a tinted non-comedogenic lotion during the day and use the Eucerin redness relief night creme at night.

5.0 out of 5 stars works great, January 9, 2008

i've tried the dermalogica anti-redness cream before this one, and it decreased redness but left my face looking very shiny and oily. this does and even better job at decreasing the redness and leaves a more matte-like appearance; more natural looking.

I use this each morning under makeup. It does a really good job of covering the redness, even on days I don't wear foundation.

5.0 out of 5 stars I used it after a chemical peel, December 18, 2007
This review is from: Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF 15, 1.7 Ounce Bottle (Misc.)
Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion, SPF 15 - 1.7 Oz
I used this product after I had a very painful chemical peel--a very invasive peel which required a general anesthetic and which basically burned my skin off, to be frank. The doctor who did the procedure provided free product which was some name brand and which was "created" for people who had had skin/chemical peels. I COULDN'T WEAR IT! It set my face on fire!!! There was only ONE product which did not give me pain after my peel, and that is this product: Eucerin. I used regular Eucerin, but during the day, I began using the Eucrin for redness. It really helped, and the green worked out okay if I used it sparingly. I was tempted to "pour" it on! But the best way is to do it one area at a time, starting with somewhat moistened (& clean) skin; not bone dry skin. That worked best for me, anyway. I love you, Eucerin.

3.0 out of 5 stars "You look pale!", August 13, 2011
This review is from: Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF 15, 1.7 Ounce Bottle (Misc.)
I found this little guy at Walgreens, where he was a whopping $15. I have a few other Eucerin products and know they are pricey, but worth the money, so I took my chance on it.

I don't have rosacea, but my skin was really red from staying out in the sun for too long. I used this product in the morning, as instructed. Later on during the day, a friend said to me, "You look pale!" (versus me looking 'red'). You can take that as a compliment or not, but that indicated to me that the product at least worked. However, I will definitely use sparingly next time. I agree with other reviewers; this stuff can leave a residue on your face, making you look more odd than you would with red skin. Again, USE SPARINGLY. People with tan skin, be careful! I don't wear make-up, so if you do, you may not experience this 'problem' (foundation, concealer, etc).

Avoid getting it in your eyebrows, some green residue will be left behind. If you have super dry skin, moisturize before using. The product can create a splotchy effect if you don't moisturize prior.

Overall, does it's advertised to do. SPF is a plus!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible product, March 29, 2011
This review is from: Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF 15, 1.7 Ounce Bottle (Misc.)
You can always count on the Germans to make good stuff. I had acne for many years and that in combination with treatments which made my skin susceptible to sun damage left my face with a reddish tone. I've tried things like aloe vera to no avail. After I applied this product for the first time I was stunned. It completely eliminates the redness and leaves my face as the same tone as the rest of my body. I will buy this product for many years to come.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hides redness, but doesn't really reduce it, better for fair skin, January 30, 2011
This review is from: Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF 15, 1.7 Ounce Bottle (Misc.)
I'm a naturally dark skinned male and was a bit apprehensive about trying this product since most people seem to have fair skin that have the redness problem and have given good reviews for this product. It does a good job of masking redness but can leave a white residue and can be difficult to rub in. Overall I think its a good product however, I think its better used for people with fairer skin. I wish I could find one more suitable for my skin type that blends better.
