4.0 out of 5 stars Great for eczema
My one year old has a pretty bad case of eczema, and this is the only lotion that I have found to show marked improvement in his condition. I use it in combination with the Aquaphor gentle wash for a one, two punch. My only complaint is that it is so greasy.

Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone are potent sensitizers and bacterial mutagens that have links to neurological damage. Not only that, they are known allergens for 2 to 4 percent of the population. Through patch testing, I have found out I am allergic to MCI/MI and my eczema has improved dramatically since avoiding Eucerin products. Eucerin is one...

I've spent loads of money on creams for my girl, believe it or not, Eucerin is her favorite.

She has dry, sensitive skin and dabs it on her lips and where she has a few crows feet trying to increase. Eucerin REALLY keeps her lines at bay.

Honest !

Eucerin is one of the few companies that insist on using these ingredients in leave-on products. I have asked Eucerin directly for an explanation and received the following answer: "We are unable to disclose ingredient information, other than as required by law, regarding our product formulations. We adhere to this policy to ensure that trade secrets and other proprietary business information remain confidential."

There are alternatives with safe ingredients. I use unscented Albolene, sold as a make-up remover, and it contains no nasty preservatives.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Eucerin Creme is a must have for Eczema, January 20, 2008
This review is from: Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Original Moisturizing Creme, 16-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I have gone to many Dermatologists and they tell me other than steroids and/or medicated dandruff shampoo Eczema is not treatable, but they don't recommend steroids. Go figure! My hairdresser told me to try this on my scalp and sometimes on my skin due to dryness. The Dandruff shampoo makes my scalp extra dry and this product has made a huge difference in my life for over 15 years. I have had Eczema all my life and I was able to get a written note from my Dermatologist so I believe my Companies Health Care spending account may reimburse me. I hope this helps, but if know a better product please let me know. The only drawback is that it is really oily, but what can you do other than use it and pray that the Lord will remove this infirmity when majority of the Dermatologists can't really help you?

GOD Bless!

I do like this product. I wish it were easier to apply, but, that would make it less effective. It is petroleum based so it's like applying vaseline but that is what makes it so good. If it were more lotion-like, it wouldn't work as well. At first, going to sleep gooped up was a little bothersome but I've come to really like it because now my dry skin doesn't hurt and flake..which, ultimately, makes me sleep better.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE VERY BEST, May 8, 2008
This review is from: Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Original Moisturizing Creme, 16-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I am 58 years old and obviously have wrinkles. I have two deep vertical wrinkles between my eyebrows in particular that bother me and was considering botox. I am so glad I tried this cream first. I can visually tell a considerable difference in my face; even those two deep wrinkles between my eyebrows. I really can't say enough about this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!, August 13, 2007
This review is from: Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Original Moisturizing Creme, 16-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
My infant son has very sensitive, dry and scaley skin. I started using this cream and it is nothing short of wonderful. I put it on his body after a bath and I also put some on his legs and arms on non-bath days. The eucerin creme has made a huge difference for us. I highly recommend this product.
