Why isn't more attention paid nowadays to Eugene Meyer? To me it is amazing that people so gifted even lived. He had the Midas touch, and he must have had a great ability to get along and communicate with people also, at least in the business context. I confess that I haven't finished this book yet, though it's an easy read. Where I'm at he just got married, and that promises to be an interesting story also. This is a very well-written book about a fascinating man, who should be remembered much better than he is. I recommend this book highly.
I've finished the book now, and it is very well written, a great read, about a man and his great life that we should all know about. |
