"Le père Goriot" is a fine book; it just isn't this one.
To all the previous reviewers, the "LOOK INSIDE" guru, and amazon.com staff, Great Job! But, haven't you noticed that this product page is for a completely different work by Honoré de Balzac called "Eugénie Grandet"? You are indeed worthy winners of the 'Green Banana Award' for jumping on a bandwagon before seeing where it...

lack of info on the description of the book
Lack of info on site. This book had no picture on the site and no words about being a simplified version. I ended up getting from the public library.
