Different, but a bit vapid.,

There is some interesting music on this CD. I might license some of it for a movie, but this really isn't the type of music you would listen to by itself. It's just too simplistic. In fact, it almost sounds like an hour of someone playing around on an expensive synthesizer. However, it did catch my attention. So, give it a listen. Please note, this is not the "new" flamenco music that Ottmar Liebert is better known for.

Absolutely spellbinding!,

I have listened to this CD several times over and everytime I listen to it, it adds a completely new dimension to music. A perfect piece to be enjoyed either alone or in company. If I could, I would allocate more than five stars to it. I strongly urge all New Age music lovers to buy this CD!

A spicy bang for your buck...,

In general, all album cuts here have a spicy, yet cosmopolitan texture. Playing this CD at your parties will communicate to your guests you have good taste in musical entertainment. I would urge anyone who enjoys club or rhythmic electronic music to own this CD, particularly since it is so modestly priced. I am not the Liebert fan in my household, but there is one among us, and therefore I hear (then listen) to just about every one of his releases regularly. Euphoria sticks out with me, however, as a very tantilizing departure from Liebert's home turf. After listening to Euphoria, I gained a greater respect for Liebert as an artist because here he has proven he can sucessfully create music in many other directions. In terms of orchestration, there is also a departure from the norm here as these cuts feature more synthesizers than we normally get with Liebart. Both cuts entitled "Havana Club" are irrestible dance pieces (and may be effectively considered as separate pieces). Lone Rider A and B are downright dub/trance pieces, very well done and unexpected. "Lush" (which opens and closes the CD) is a wonderfully voiced electronic instrumental with a beat, synthesizer effects, and a decent melody. Although my decriptions sound diverse, these cuts do belong on the same album. Consider that I have frequent access to Liebart's albums, this is the only one which I have decided to own outright.
