5.0 out of 5 stars The new addition to the Euphoria line doesn't dissapoint., January 22, 2001

Fair Hays (Tupelo, MS USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Euphoria: Transcendental (Audio CD)
The euphoria series is known for releasing quality mixes by some of the world's top notch DJ's and producers. This compilation is no exception. The track listing is a selection of very popular anthems and a few darker numbers that should become floor fillers in the coming months. The mixing is very well done also. I agree with the other reviewer who commented on the continuity of the track sound throughout the course of the cd's, but I quite enjoy this effect. The songs seemed to be strategically placed in an order that flows really well throughout the entire mix. If you don't mind the price of an import, and are familiar with the euphoria series, then you can't go wrong here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Track Selection, January 29, 2006
By
This review is from: Euphoria: Transcendental (Audio CD)
This is an album I bought a few years ago and lost and it was so good I had to go and buy it again. Dave Pearce's track selection on this cd is outstanding, almost every track on the second cd is off the chain, from the very begining with Terra Firma's [The Adventure's of] to Floyd [Come together], Gabrielle [Rise], Xtasia [Sweetness], Coast II Coast [Home], and especially Plasma Featuring Berri [Do U Believe]. I have to admit I dont really take a liking to his mixing skills as much as I like djs like Tiesto, Micro, and Oakenfold but when a Dj picks tracks as good as everyone on this cd the mixes dont mean much cause the song makes you completely forget about the mix cause it is so powerful. This is a must have cd for anyone who loves uplifting peak hour trance hits.

Euphoria albums are always good, this one is no ecxeption. some may not like it straight away because the songs are fairly new but i would definately recommend this one, along with the rest of the collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Their is definately better in the Euphoria Collection, February 26, 2001
This review is from: Euphoria: Transcendental (Audio CD)
This is a very good cd, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations that were set by other euphoria cd's. All the Pure Euphoria, and Euphoria Ibiza cd's are better than this, and if you don't know Euphoria i would reccomend that you get those first. However this cd should not be looked over because it shows alot of talent, and contains songs that are great, and you probably haven't heard yet. I would rate cd 1 (A), and Cd 2 (B+). Don't miss this one if your looking for something new.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, not great, but good!, December 27, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Euphoria: Transcendental (Audio CD)
This is a well mixed tracklist with great execution on each track. The only drawback is that it gets a bit repetitive at times. The DJ had a tendency to try to do the exact same mixes, sounds and rhythms with several songs in a row. But other than that flaw, it sounds great, flows great and is worth the money you put out for it.
