5.0 out of 5 stars Performed well
At this price point it met all our expectations. It was actually easier to set up than expected. (beware the possibility of bending a pole. That said, we received a free replacement pole from Eureka as it was not clear if it was a defect or user error) This whole unit can be set up and moved around with no problem, put over the picnic table, moved to the shade, etc...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not up to Eureka quality standards...
I have three Eureka tents and am a big fan...the main reason I felt comfortable buying this screen house. If you have a Eureka tent you know the "pole connector hub" is actually a METAL star that all the poles lock into. The screen house is a similar design, but the "pole connector hub" is cheap plastic! The first time I put this together I cracked the plastic star...

The first time I put this together I cracked the plastic star because everything was not perfectly aligned. It makes no sense that metal poles would be well supported by a plastic hub!It simply is not up to the level of quality I have expected from Eureka--even at this price I would stay away from this product.

The stored size is very compact, making it a breeze to take along. I would caution the user to note the exterior dimension is not the same as useable space as you note the side walls do angle in toward the roof. There IS room for a full size picnic table inside, but you can't stand up tall as you walk around it.

This is a nice screen room but there is no provision for guy lines. Ours blew down in a brisk breeze and broke three of the poles. We are currently waiting to see if Eureka will replace them.

This is a great screen house. The quality seems top notch. The zippers are really sturdy and will likely last a long time. We originally purchased a WENZEL screen house and had to return it after the first use due to a defective zipper. The Eureka has much better craftsmanship in my opinion. We also have a Eureka Sunrise tent and that is great too. Go with a Eureka!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality, July 25, 2007
This review is from: Eureka! Screen House (Sports)
Set up was easy w/ two people. I was glad to find that the tent had an open bottom, which seemed vague in the description. We were able to set it up and move it over a stationary picnic table w/ no problem. We are pleased w/ this product and felt it was a decent price for the quality.

This is a great tent. Nice size, color, and black screen which makes it really a lot nicer to look out rather than the white screens. Plenty roomy as well and works great against the bugs. Also is very easy to assemble, store, and put together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good screenhouse for dirt surfaces only, July 4, 2009

I bought this screenhouse so my kids could play outside in a sandbox or with a water table without having to bother with bug spray or lots of sunscreen. From the photo I thought it would be okay for a deck; it needs to be in the dirt. It has a lot of room and was pretty easy to put up. I wish it had feet stabilizers so it could be placed in a patio or deck setting. Good quality though.

Easy set-up and take-down. Did the job of keeping the bees away from my mother-in-law. Size and shape were perfect for her bench/swing to fit inside.

I am very pleased with this screen house. The set up is very easy and took two people 10 minutes to put it up. Now we can sit outside and eat out without any bugs flying around us. Highly recommended. Also very roomy.

5.0 out of 5 stars EUREKA!! Excellent screen house!!, September 16, 2007
This review is from: Eureka! Screen House (Sports)
Instead of installing the screen house on the grass- put it together on a concrete slab- fastened 2x6's into the concrete and attached the four corners using metal key snaps. In addition put a screw eye in the center of the planks and tied them onto the tent. That gave me additional wind protection.
Setup took one hour-- Excellent tent- very well satisfied!!
