This was by far the worst vacuum I have ever used EVER! The last time I used it and found that it AGAIN was not working properly I wanted to sit down and cry. I would spend more time trying to figure out what was wrong with it then I would actually vacuuming! Please learn from my mistake and run away from this lemon of a vacuum!!! (Seriously)

At first this vacuum is fantastic. The suction is great and it vacuums perfectly. Then it starts clogging...and as your cleaning out the vacuum you realize that the floor is filled with the debris from the vacuum again. So...you vacuum the floor again and see that it's leaving carpet fiber behind. So...you call Eureka, they tell you what to do and the vacuum works like a dream again. Then, the problems start all over again..and again...and again. Although you've done all the things Eureka told you to do...... This vacuum is not worth the headache.

This vacuum cleaner seems as advertized. I have a dog who is a moderate shedder, but nevertheless still sheds. I have very light color carpets and he is a white dog. I'd thought my old cleaner was good, boy was i wrong. The brush works as expected no complaints there. It still early on but so far so good.

This vacuum cleaner is the most powerful vacuum I have ever used. It is self propelled and removed stuff from my carpet that I didn't even know was there, like Carpet Fresh, that I have never used. The claw zips through and picks up pet hair like you would believe. This is one of the best investments I have ever made.

There does seem to be more maintenance needed with this vacuum over others that I have owned (i.e. replacing the belt more often than not, cleaning filters each use, pet hair doing a number on the roller) but for the price I paid for it on sale I would buy it again. It does have wonderful suction if you are avid about cleaning the filters before each use as I do.

We first got the Uno and loved it...it really picked up great, UNTIL it got to be a few months old, and the hardward started breaking. Everytime we used it something broke. The frist time we thought we just got a lemon when it broke right after the warrenty was out. The belt melted to the roller and because it melted we could not just replace the melted part. We thought it was just a freaky malfunction since it picked up so well, so we bought a second one. That did not even last the length of the warrenty, but since it was the same error we did not even want to try and get a third one. The craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired, I will never buy an Eureka again!

The Uno bagless has nice features, like the built in duster. But the design flaw is in how it captures debris.

There's more to getting this vacuum working properly than simply washing out the foam filter and dumping out the collection canister. The inlet for the hose has a sharp 90° bend going into the canister. This easily gets clogged up with hair, etc. Also, I only recently discovered that hair and dust collects ABOVE the removable canister. There's a little plastic piece that unscrews and all of the debris falls out, but not into a canister or anything. It falls all over the floor so you have to use the vacuum again to clean up the mess you made once the vacuum is cleaned out.

This vacuum is also big and heavy, which surprises me. I have a smaller Eureka that is just as powerful, isn't a pain to clean out and is half the weight and size of this one. Sure, it doesn't have the feather duster and all of the attachments, but it doesn't have the issues this one has either.

There are cheaper, smaller, better vacuums out there. This one just isn't worth it.

You know, I could sit here all day and tell you how bad it is, at what it's suppose to be good at - vacuuming, but it's sucks! No pun intended. Well really, it doesn't suck, and that's the problem.

As stated in an earlier post, when I stop vacuuming, half of what I thought I picked up, is sitting right there on the floor (you see it once you've move the vacuum cleaning.

It doesn't pickup small parts of dirt well at all. EVERY-TIME I vacuum, ALL of the small pieces of dirt, pebbles (VERY SMALL) are all still on the floor.

Now I haven't call, to see what Eureka has to say, how to change / fix it, but I'm listening if anyone an answer.

As for purchasing this vacuum ... DO NOT DO IT!

this vacuum is the worst i've ever used. it is high priced but does not perform in any way that i find satisfactory. it constantly get clogged, and requires cleaning on at least a weekly basis to keep it functioning at all. DON'T BUY IT!
