Delivered fast, excellent quality and fit for my Eureka 4870 Type D-3 The Boss SmartVac. If you happen to have this model and type, you'll need a star type screwdriver kit (I think they are called torx?) to remove the bracket that holds the hose in place.

I thought we were going to have to replace our whole vacuum when the hose got ripped. I was so happy to find that parts were easy to get on Amazon.

This is a direct replacement for the The Boss vacuum by Eureka. It is an easy two minute replacement. The price is fair, and my machine is back to new.

Five stars - the replacement is just as good or better than the original. The price was fair. Installation was easy.

The hose on my Eureka The Boss Smart Vac had split where the hose met the attachment adapter. I tried to McGuyver it at first with duct tape but the seal just was not great. Found this replacement hose on amazon and it solved the problem. Service was quick, price was fair, and the process to replace the hose took about 1 minute once I had the correct tool in hand (one of those star tipped screwdrivers). Vac is good as new.

Really... what can one say about a vacuum attachment hose that hasn't already been said before? I can't believe I'm spending the time writing this review when I really need to shampoo my hair, but then I've squandered hours playing solitaire and where has it gotten me? Wait for it..... this hose is gnarly (not gnarled) dude! When you need a new hose because you've destroyed the old hose by pulling it too taut because you didn't want to drag the dang vac with you up the stairs, then this is the hose for you!!!

This is my third vac hose in four years. They are somewhat cheaply made and, I suspect, a product of China. The wiring at the connection points seems to unravel and peel. The plastic tip chips rather easily. What is redeeming about this product is the price. Inexpensive to replace evey 14 months or so. There are higher priced hoses available but I don't know if they would last any longer.

Perfect fit, great quality and at a fair price. Fast delivery and easily installed. Possibly even a better hose than the original equipment (which tended to crack near the output wand). [Buyer should be aware that this vacuum does require the "star" type screwdriver to install the hose, but many multi-bit screwdriver kits already include a "star"-type bit so check your home supply of screwdriver before going to the hardware store.]

Well, was vacuuming last week and all of a sudden I noticed that the hose had a hole in it near the connector for the tubing. duck-taped it to get finished and then ordered this new hose.
Perfect match to the original, you have to take out two screws on the back housing to change it out, five minute job. You'll need a special screwdriver bit for it, one of those funky 6-pointed star-shaped types. My set had one in it that fit perfectly. Five minute job, easy.

This is the second time replacing the hose on the vacuum. The first one was too long and had to be wrapped around handle to stay off the floor. This one seems to be the same length as the original and fits right. Wonder how long it will last before end of hose chips and breaks again.
