The Eureka Home Cleaning System vacuum combines the sturdy structure usually found in uprights with the versatility of a canister-style machine. A dual-motor system lets you choose between bare-floor cleaning (no brush-roll action) and carpet cleaning (with motorized brush roll). The vacuum's highly maneuverable floor brush features a 13-inch cleaning path, automatic height adjustment, and a smart nozzle design, which directs suction to the edges and corners. The canister, equipped with its own onboard tools and bag-change indicator, is solidly built for easy tool access and simple bag changing. The unit's micron filter even traps pollens, dust, and allergens as small as 5 microns in size. Some structural details on this machine are especially handy, like the swiveling hose assembly and the wraparound cord storage. Just received this vacuum today & it is the best I have ever used in 26 years. Absolutely beats out my central vacuum system!! Takes up ALL the dog hair, I cannot emphasize that enough.My rugs look great and so do the hard floors. Handles very easily, rolls itself along, you only need to guide it. Great price, quick shipment, I couldn't be happier.

Used by a cleaning service in the homes of executives and professionals, very fussy customers. Great power and easy to use. Have used 6800 series canisters for 8+ years, and will continue to do so.

Its a very average unit that does not have a retractable power cord.

The Good
It does its job and is light to move around.

The Bad
The hose does get tangled up very easily much like a cheap garden hose. And again, NO RETRACTABLE POWER CORD.
