Excellent Choice, February 25, 2008
This sleeping bag strikes the balance between cost and quality. I've slept snug as a bug in many different setting in this pack, from just under freezing to about 65F. The fleece pillow pocket is great for a folded up jacket, and the thermometer on the zipper is a nice touch. It's lightweight and compactable, perfect for backpacking. I plan on using it into the spring and summer, where it should be perfect for the cool evenings on the mountainside.

Really a 35-degree bag, October 7, 2007
Eureka Cimarron 15 degree bag is a nice cut, design and comfort bag. The issue is in meeting the 15 degree specification. I specifically bought this bag for early spring and mid to late fall camping/treking. Recently in the Adirondack's I hit a few nights of frost, first night was a pretty hard frost which required longjohns, hiking socks and a skull cap to get through the night without shivering my tail off. Spent a couple more weeks treking and temperatures warmed so that I feel the bag may offer comfort to about 35 degrees at best. To rate it a 3 season bag is really stretching it.

Great for the price..., April 13, 2009
This review is from: Eureka! Cimarron 15-Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag (Sports)
Bought this sleeping bag for a backpacking trip along the Alabama Pinhoti trail. It worked beautifully for the sub-50-degree weather. I'm a 5'9"/190lbs man, and I fit comfortably in the regular-sized bag (with 6"-8" of extra length). There's just enough room in the width for me to roll over, but not much more than that -- of course, mummy bags like this aren't intended to be (nor should they be) too roomy.
It's not the lightest bag out there, nor the most compact. You could probably find a North Face, Marmot, or Mountain Hardwear bag that would certainly outperform this sleeping bag. -But, for the price, this bag is very hard to beat. Eureka makes good, quality products (I own a $300 Eureka tent that lives up to it's price), and this bag met up to the quality I've come to expect from Eureka.
If you're expecting actual 15-degree weather, you might look into a warmer bag -- this one will certainly keep you from freezing at those temps, but it likely won't keep you all warm & cozy.
Would I recommend this bag to a backpacker on a budget? Most definitely. :-)
