it fits and work in my vacuum theEureka Optima Lightweight ( the yellow one) though the DCF14 looks different from the DCF10 filter that came with the vacuum. the DCF14 is yellow and has no piece that fits down the pipe and its bigger. plus there are really no instructions on how to install it. but it is not that hard.
i've read several reviews and alot of people said they put a nylon over the filter so i bought some cheap kneehighs and tried it on this filter that keep the clogging down alot it stops the big stuff from getting in the fins of the filter so i dont have to wash it out like the DCF10 so far its works good. i bought two DCF14 thinking i would have to change them quickly like the DCF10 but its been about a month now and i'm still on the first one which i think has a lot to do with the nylon

I really like my Optima lightweight vac - it is great for cleaning stairs and my area rugs. It is easy to maneuver , it is not too heavy, yet has very strong suction.

But I hate changing the filters - they are so messy. I have to do it outside on a non-windy day. So having a few spares really helps in several ways. I have used both DCF-10 and DCF-14 filter in my vacuum and they both fit well.

Cleaning these filters is very hard, dust gets stuck in the crevices. However, if I wash them with jet stream from the water hose, it is possible to get them relatively clean. So I what I do is take the vacuum outside, remove the filter, shake it out, and then use the jet to clean it. After the filter has been washed I leave it to dry for a while. In the meantime I put another filter in. So I can put away the vacuum before the filter dries out.


I found that the price on the on this product fluctuates between $10 and $15. There is a nice online tool that I use to help catch a good price on Amazon, this tool is called "Online Price Alert". This tool will send you an email when the Amazon item price reaches the target price range that you specify. If you search on "online price alert" in Google it will be come up at the top. I find this tool to be very helpful.

we were worried that this might not be the correct filter, as the size and shape are a bit different than the DCF-10 that came with our vacuum. but it does indeed fit, and so far is filtering just fine.

Filter works great, exact fit in machine and preforms with same standards as original filter. Installed in machine as tight as original with no leaks.

I rec'd the wrong item and was refunded after an inquiry. The seller did not resend the correct item but I originally ordered it because I have used this dust cup in the past and it is a good product. I placed a new order from another site.

I ordered a factory filter but that's not what we ended up with. The fit was ok. It took a bit of work to get the filter to fit and the top of the canister to seat correctly since it was for a few different models. Next time I'll go to the store, spend a few more dollars, get it off the shelf and ensure it will be for the product we own. The product was shipped not from Amazon, drop shipped from a different vender.

If I got this as a gift, I would be upset, but since I bought it and needed it I am very pleased! Thank you Amazon!

I have been using the regular, non HEPA filters in my Eureka vac for the past year. Now that I have a new baby I thought these would be a better idea. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! My vacuum runs better and even has more suction with this one. Will never go back to the old ones! Thank you so much!

Although the product looks a little different than the one in the photo (and the one I already had in my vacuum), it still fits perfectly and works great. It is gray rather than orange and is shaped a little differently, but still fits perfectly. I have a lightweight upright that takes DCF-14 filters. I will be ordering more.

I was unable to find the filters locally but was thrilled to get them through Amazon and cheaper than on other sites. Shipping time seems slow. Don't think it the sellers problem but still slow.
