I have the Eureka Maxima Bagless vacuum cleaner (4700 series in yellow), which is a pretty good little vacuum for what it is. This replacement part works great and has the HEPA rating too. The original part that came with the vacuum (DCF-4) is not HEPA rated. I had the original part for way too long and most department stores sell the DCF-4 for the same price as this DCF-18. Even the DCF-18 is recommended by Eureka's website. I was skeptical that this would fit at first, but the DCF-18 is essentially the same fit as the DCF-4. I would recommend the DCF-18 if you are looking for a replacement filter for the Eureka Maxima Bagless vacuum cleaner.

I used this as a replacement for the original vacuum filter. The vacuum no longer smells bad and suction seems improved. Highly recommend this!

My vacuum was starting to stink when I realized I needed a new filter. I ordered this and everything is back to normal.

I bought this filter, so I could have a filter on my sweeper while I washed and dried the filter that came with the sweeper originally. It works great. I can switch filters and then clean the dirty one and save it to switch the next time. I can't believe how much dirt this sweeper picks up. Makes me really want to rethink having carpet in the house period.

The filter fit as promised, was easy to install, and works well. I wish there was a washable/reusable version that fit my vacuum because I have 3 cats and a dog and find myself changing the filter more like every 6 weeks rather than the recommended every 6 months!

This filter was inexpensive and did the job. I somehow feel compelled to buy a case of these because I have a feeling that sooner or later they will be discontinued. Unfortunately, just like everything else, this product is very disposable and should be made so that one can rinse it out for a longer product life.

I bought this filter because it was a lot less than in the store and by buying two of them I qualified for free shipping. because of the amount, When the filter came we put it in the vacuum cleaner right away and started using it. We found that it was so great it seemed that it did a much better job than the original filter that came in the sweeper so we were very much satisfied and now we even have an extra. When both filters are used up we will definitely come back to amazon.com and order more. This was a great bargain and the company delivered exactly what was promised.

I've bought the Hepa dcf4 filter in depot stores and hardware stores for an average price of $23-25 EACH FILTER. This is the identical filter that's sold in the stores and if you buy two at a time from amazon.com it comes out cheaper then buying one in any store. It fits my eureka upright vacuum perfectly since IT IS THE EXACT filter that you get when you buy the vacuum. Since I have two large "hairy" dogs and I vacuum almost daily I have to change the filters every few months. Buying it thru amazon.com I'm getting a great deal in price and value. I have ordered this filter several times already and plan on continuing to purchase thru amazon... To me its a no BRAINER... it comes out basically two for one. Two thru Amazon for the price of one in the stores AND its the identical filter size and brand.

So i bought the actual vacuum a couple years ago and its great. I had to buy a replacement filter for it, and boy let me tell you this filter is awesome. I mean it just adds to the power of the vacuum, totally increases the sucking power and adds to the vacuum the ability to suck stuff that wouldnt normally be picked up

This filter does very well at capturing dust and hair. I can clean it and use it for 6 months before buying another one. Our place has really sandy, dusty yards and this filter does a really good job of removing it from the carpet and keeping it from recirculating. We also have 4 dogs and it keeps the hair from recirculating, too.
