This lantern does exactly what it advertises it will do. Bought it to keep in my emergency bag. Its 360 degree lighting pattern adequately lights up any room in my house in case we lose power.

I knew it was supposed to be small but I had no idea. I've owned flashlights larger than this lantern. As the previous reviewer said, it's almost small enough to fit in a pocket. Wearing cargo pants or shorts? It'll easily fit in a side pocket. The green LED on the front of the lantern that flashes every five seconds makes it easy to find, even in the dark. It provides enough light to read by and play games and by turning the small knob it becomes a decent flashlight. At 185 lumens it's nearly as bright as some of the larger lanterns I've seen. It's pretty lightweight but at the same time feels like it'll be a durable light to take camping.

this lantern works great as a flashlight or lantern, the handiest part is the fold in loop on the bottom so you can tie a string on and hang it in a tent or a tree branch when camping, it will light up a campsite like a single globe gas lantern yet it almost fits in your pocket and you can use it as a flashlight. i love this and would recommended it to anyone looking for a very bright, small and convenient light at a very affordable price for what you get!
