Moonlight Butterfly,
By J. Sherman "The Critic" (New York, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Eureka Seven: Psalms of Planets, Vol. 5 (Paperback)
Volume 5 of the "Eureka Seven" comic starts off with a bang with Renton and Eureka take Nirvash straight into the Coralian core. There Eureka merges with the Coralians while Renton gets captured along with the rest of Gekko State. After escaping that predicament, GB leader Holland faces military leader Dewey in a final showdown while Renton teams up with an unlikely ally in order to rescue Eureka. The hits and the drama keep on coming as this series draws to a close in the next volume. While it's somewhat disappointing that the anime outlasts the manga and hence, has more to offer, writer Jinsei Kataoka manages to squeeze in the most important bits of the story into their work while Kazuma Kondou's artwork leaves nothing more to be desired. Included is yet another section of funny bonus manga.
This comic is rated for ages 13 and up: Graphic Violence, Adult Language. |
