Without any prior experience I've now made cabinets for extra income and can say I would never have attempted it without these tools.

Eurekazone makes a decent product. Their tracks are stronger and thicker then the competition. Problem is you are dealing with aone man show and he refuses to update instructions or customer service beyond talking to him.

The biggest problem is exactly what you see going on here. If you read the reviews and see the names and go on his web site you will see they are the same people that talk up his product on his forum. If you dare say anything against the Co they will attack just like they have on every other woodworking forum.

The reviews you are reading are from people somewhat associated with teh Co which is not what Amazon intended. You would think they would at least change their names. Best part is they even say they have had the set up for a long time and it has changed since then quite a bit.

Good product but the customer service is logging onto a forum, dealing with the above henchmen and being convinced that their way is the best.

The product needs more development to be a mainstream consumer grade product. If you are expecting the same packaging and materials say with a F or M brand you will be upset when the box opens up with zero instructions and ful of whatever newspaper from last week was available. If Dino would let go of taking care of the entire sales process he could have a winner but otherwise be warned.

I purchased nearly every EZ product out there including their track, router sled, saw base, cabinet maker sled and EZ-1 table.

The cons:

There were no instructions. You literally get a pile of extruded aluminum and have to sniff around the Internet for videos by other owners to piece it all together. (I'm referencing the EZ-1 table.)

The anti-tearout strip on the tracksaw chips and does NOT ensure against tearout. At all.

The base does fit the bottom of your existing circular saw, but you need to drill holes into your existing saw. Even then, best of luck with the alignment.

The EZ-1 table is wobbly and requires extensive modification by the consumer to get the table square.

The customer service is not great. You can call and actually speak with the owner, but the quality of the product isn't improved. I had to call multiple times to find out when my product would ship. Emails went unanswered.

If you want to use this for fine woodworking, don't be fooled. This tool may replace a table saw for some, but not for me. I find table saws to be dangerous, but this EZ system was so poor, I had to get rid of it all and purchase a SawStop to do what I needed to do.

The pros:

The extruded aluminum is nice and thick. The clamps that come with the tool are quite good. I think the aluminum pieces could be cannibalized for making jigs and workbench clamp-down strips.

There is a forum dedicated to the tool. However, it tends to be a cheerleading tool of the product and was created by the manufacturer, who is the forum moderator.

I don't have any experience with the Festool or Dewalt tracksaws, but I hope they're better than this product.

I own a 54" track and Smart Base with anti-chip inserts. I saw a competitor's system (wicked expensive) demonstrated at my local Woodcraft store but was concerned about the safety of their front-plunge saw. (In fact, the employee demonstrating the system experienced some kick-back when performing the demo!)

With the EZ Smart Base I was able to mount my own "non-plunge" Makita 5008MGA circular saw. Since purchasing the system two years ago, I have safely and consistently gotten clean cuts (near "jointer-smooth") with no chipping - even on plywood, and even when using the 24-tooth Makita blade that came on the saw! The anti-chip edge and anti-chip inserts really make a difference.

I eliminated my table saw from my shop about a year ago - just never used it! I'm very close to eliminating my radial arm saw for the same reason.

Verified Purchase
after trying the 54" I bought the 105". this works VERY well and is way cheaper than Festool or Dewalt tracksaws. The 2 pieces of long track are ridgid and do not flex. I can now cut down plywood without re-cutting on the tablesaw.

I struggled with 4'x8' sheets of plywood on my table saw, filled with fear. After researching the many ways folks perform this task (infeed and outfeed tables etc.), I found Eurekazone. Using a circular saw guided by Eurekazone's track and saw base to cut sheets of plywood is not only safe, but the accuracy it gives you on long rips is incredible. Check out their smart table system too.
