This review is from: Euripides: Hecuba: Introduction, Text, and Commentary (Textbook Series (American Philological Association)) (Hardcover)
Justina Gregory has produced a very useful commentary on this play. She has established her own text, but the real usefulness for most people will be her commentary. This is clearly addressed to more advanced students and scholars, but Gregory has kept in mind that many users will require help now and then with the more difficult passages, especially in the choruses. She does not burden her commentary with parallel passages, but gives clear grammatical and philological explanations of the text.
