I love this vacuum cleaner, it's compact, strong, very good suction, comes with both diposable bags and a fabric bag. it's really awsome and easy to use! It's lightweight, comes with an additional part that vacuums hair from fabrics, sofas etc. Just buy it! Definitely worth the money! You can use it on floors and carpets.
I know that my review sounds like a commercial add, but believe me it's a really good vacuum cleaner!

We bought this vacuum as a replacement. We've had a
Shark for at least 10 yrs, and we love its portability,
light weight, and choice of attachments. It's truly a
staple in our household, but its small size and great
suction make great for cleaning our auto interiors as
well. A real workhorse!

This is the best little vacuum I have ever purchased. I had the first one (a different style but same mfg)
for 8 years and keep it in the garage for cleaning the car and the new one stays in the house. It makes
cleaning up small messes simple and fast and is great for getting around the corners and edges where my
big Kirby doesn't reach. I use it on smooth floors instead of stirring up dust with the broom.

I needed a second vacuum cleaner that was lightweight & this turned out to be just what I was looking for. The price was right & I love that it has an automatic "wind up" for the plug. I can carry it around with no problem & it's quite powerful for it's size.

I like the vacuum very much, but the 10-pack bags that I ordered with the Shark Plus don't fit. I called the 800 number on the instruction pamphlet and it sounded like I was speaking to someone in a foreign country that could only give me the web site, which was of no help. I emailed customer service ([...]) and haven't heard back. May not be able to use vacuum if I can't find new bags. Help!

I purchased this vaccuum and love it, but now I am having a miserable time finding bags for this model. Can anyone help? I have tried ones on amazon but they don't work. I have even tried google searching the model number EP703 but come up with nothing. I have also emailed Shark. Does anyone know of any vendors with the CORRECT bags that fit the EP703?

I was really looking forward to using this vacuum based on all the reviews.

It comes with 3 paper bags and 1 reusable bag, a carpet head, a slim fit crevice tool and a dusting tool. Convenient retractable electric cord.
It IS: easy to operate, lightweight, powerful suction, visually appealing, and compact.
It works well on: hard wood or tile.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the performance on carpet. I have low pile carpet, but I do have a short hair dog and I have long hair myself. The carpet attachment doesn't have any actual spin brushes, only small, stationary brushes that do not actually "lift" anything.

B/c the carpet attachment doesn't have any wheels and the suction power is strong, it is hard to "roll" it when you are vacuuming carpet. And the carpet only gets clean in the "middle" of the vacuum head, not the entire length of the brush.

I was really disappointed since I was looking for a canister vacuum that I can easily carry up and down hard wood stairs...

I would only recommend if you don't have carpet, or looking for a compact vac. to use for casual dusting or car cleaning.

I had a Shark canister for a number of years with no problem. Bought the EP703 model that looks so similar. HOWEVER, it takes a different replacement bag and these can not be found on the internet. See other similar complaints. Amazon as the supplier of the machine should help with its parts.

Does a good job on hardwood, tile and an okay job on very low pile carpet (think indoor/outdoor). We've got 3 cats and a dog, lots of hair, and the compact size of this vac makes it easy to do a sweep a few times a week. Wouldn't recommend it for plush carpet. The warning: It came with 3 extra bags. We're down to the last one and can't find replacement bags for this model anywhere.
